hey i'm currently learning dark world. Can you make a walkthrough for the do's and don'ts of the deck ? also the combos and card choices if possible. Would really help
Here is my quick guide - Draw out the deck and use Reign Beaux, Snoww, and Corridor to search key cards. - Get Goldd, Lucent, Graphas, and Reign Beauxs into rotation, then loop summoning and using their effects; this lets you reliably summon the dangers and whatever else you need. - You do this by using Grapha and Reign Beaux to summon themselves from the grave by returning a lower-level DW to the hand. (Grapha is the highest-level DW monster so can't be returned) - Going first make sure you have enough gas to build your desired board and play around handtraps if you need to. - Going second, break their board with powerful cards from the hand like Grapha, Bigfoot, and Lava Golem; draw as many cards as possible, and if needed, OTK with Zealantis + Muckraker. Key cards/combos: - Snoww, Reign Beaux, and Dark Corridor search (Dark Corridor is not a "Dark World" so does not trigger Archives). - Use archives and Gates of the DW to draw and discard. - Genta is a starter that searches and enables gates of the DW. It can special summon once when banished while another DW card is on the field. Bounce genta to the hand with a Grapha or Reign Beaux to use it again! - Gates discards a fiend and banishes 1 from the grave, then draws a card. Genta + Snoww, Reign Beaux, or Broww is the best - Put Zephyros in the grave to use its effect, which summons itself by returning anything to hand. It returns a card for cost, so if negated, it just won't summon. Gates is a great card to return and use again. - Zalamander targets itself and another fiend in the hand and discards one and summons the other so its very useful. - I use Diabolica because I also use Trade-In, and she has two great effects. - She can summon herself to the field when a fiend is sent to the grave and when she is sent she can add any fiend from the grave to the hand. Note: Discarding diabolica or any other DW monster for cost does not trigger their effects; the only cards that do this in my deck are Trade-In and Gryphon. Hope this helps 👍
The deck loses hard to graveyard hate and droll; the danger engine is luck-based; and there is very little room for non-engine cards. It doesn't have crazy strong combos and 1 card starters and it relies on draw power and setup in cards like Gates of Dark World. Also, in Master Duel, Sillva is banned. Still, I think the deck is quite strong and very underrated.
Thanks for the video! I've always liked Dark world ever since I got its structure deck a while ago. I was wondering why you used Gold in the deck, instead of another copy of lucent. Also, what is your recommended ratio of Danger - Dark World monsters if its not too much to ask.
I use Goldd and Lucent because if one gets negated by called by, I can use the other. Moreover, they have unique discard effects when discarded by the Grapha fusion monster, and lastly, they have different names, so I can link summon links that need monsters with different names. My recommended ratio of Dangers is minimum 12 because that is a 90% chance to see at least 1 going second, but you can use as many or as little as you like. Try allure of darkness at 2-3 to banish extra dangers if you are seeing too many.
@HFS.774 Whoa, thats some good advice, thanks. Im definitely making sime changes on my deck. If Silva ever gets unbanned in MD how many copies would you run them at our of curiosity?
@@HFS.774 Daaang really? Isnt it unbanned in the TCG? I wouldve guessed that since in MD we have Maxx C the effect wouldn't be as strong, unless im missing some other use for the card
