What I expected: Some chill hawaiian sounding music with FighterZ usual mix of heavy metal somehow. What I got: A theme that has FighterZ style but easily sounds like the boss theme for a martial arts master. And I am very happy with it, couldn't have done a more fitting theme for Roshi.
Woulda been a nice touch if used on Piccolo, there woulda been a rice cooker instead of a jar. Sure, he's not King Piccolo, but he has his father's memories and eternal youth.
At this point I'm convinced that Master Roshi is basically immortal. This master has really not shown many signs of croaking. And I hope it stays that way.
@@NukeA6 He didn't really do that much in DBS tbh. Other than getting that girl to eliminate herself and using the Mafuba on Frost that failed in the TOP.
@@-zawarudo-2684 He also eliminated Dercori, used his strongest Kamehameha on Ganos, and fought off a bunch of Freeza's soldiers. That's way more than what most of the other Z Fighters did since the Buu saga.
This, Theme, Is, PERFECT!!! It has the DBFZ Guitar while also having the OG Dragon Ball feel to it, and this represents Master Roshi at his best! It shows that while he may be an old geezer, a bit of a goofball, and is CERTAINLY a huge pervert, he is the creator of the Kame Fighting Style, the Kamehameha, and is one of the strongest humans on Earth, and would train Goku to not only surpass him, but for him to later on become one of the strongest fighters in the Dragon Ball Multiverse, so while he may not be as strong as most of the characters now, he is still known to his students as “Muten Roshi-Sama” and don’t you EVER forget that.✌🏻
The buildup is so incredible and the drip of that metal beat mixed with the traditional Japanese instruments creates a drop that is un paralleled in this games OST.
If i'm gonna be honest, this fits for both Ultra Instinct Goku and Roshi. For obvious reasons. The song starts off calm, and slowly gets more agressive, but still has some calmness in it. Fitting for UI Goku. Fitting for Roshi because he is... Well, obviously old and old people are slower and much weaker then their prime. Which is fitting since it starts slow, then gets... Yeah, I'm sure you get the point. Besides that, gud song. :]
everyone seems to think master roshi was a wasted slot for ToP and that he barely does anything in dbs but may I remind you that in the manga the man went pseudo ultra instinct and for a short while kept up with jiren
This is incredibly unique, very very good. It fits well into the game without being too off putting. I like this one. Doesn’t sound very much like a fight is happening more like menu music or end credits music but it’s great.
Bro, the intro/buildup is SO long in this song... it doesn't really feel like fighting game music. Once it finally gets going it definitely feels good and fits Roshi but I'm not sure how to feel about this song. I will say that I like the way that for the first 2:15 its just doing the same riff over and over adding one part/instrument at a time so its a well put together buildup but like... imagine you are playing FighterZ and your opponent skips intros. You are really sitting there for the first HALF of the match just vibing waiting for the music to kick in. Better anime music than fighting game music IMHO
yes it’s fire yea but sounds too fighterz-ish the 3 I mentioned have kind of a unique sound compared to most of the OST in the game cus most of them sound similar
Ok I’m definitely getting like Naruto music mix with metal!🤘🏼 at the same plus it hits harder than the ultimate ninja storm games that they couldn’t get a proper game
@ChiefMedicPururu oh no I don’t have a stigma against on its game I was just making a joke even though Naruto games are good I just wish they would make a proper fighting game in the future
