Neat job. Regarding the consumables, is there a generic equivalent to kimwipes? They are horrendously expensive and I've been looking for low cost lint-free alternatives. Saponifier? Any particular detergent?
+Frank E Davidson - The cheaper substitutes to Kimwipes leave a lot more particulate matter during clean up. There are no lint free alternatives that I am aware of that would be as cheap as a 4 x 4 box of kimwipes for under $5.00 US. If I am doing water soluble I use a pump dispenser full of distilled water and a drop of either dish soap or saponifier. They both work fine and leave no residue, halides, bromides, chlorides, etc... My recommendation is still Kimwipes. The lowest lint of any. If you find a lint free, watch what you will have to pay for them.
They are not a widely available brand here. The lab suppliers stock them but there are minimum order quantities, more than most companies, let alone individuals can store. The shipping is ridiculous even on smaller quantities
