Secure backpack with a regular 3 plate, stealth vest, comms vest and a large bag is the solo meta. You can switch to the large bag at the start for room for plates and usually the comms vest until you get a warning then put on the stealth vest and switch to the regular 3 plate if you think your going to get overrun get everything into the secure bag and you still have a regular 3 plate to fight the team just incase. All you lose is your gun and a 3 plate. If you have an exfil streak you got yourself a super soldier

@@angelotownsend5124 for when you put the comms vest and stealth vest into the secure bag so you don't lose them if you die, you must have either a 2 plate or a 3 plate to switch to

I can see the benefit of that but playing solo you don’t usually have time to keep swapping bags and vests. Comms vest all the way for me! Might explore the option of the large/secure bag combo soon

Great content! A part of me feels guilty for not prioritizing my main missions (I still have only 1 insured weapon slot), but at the same time I realize what you said before about how dmz is truly what you make it, whether its missions, pvp, side missions, or a mix. I have been getting the most enjoyment from regaining, side missions, and successfully exfilling solo (with a little pvp occasionally).

Yeah man, this is the thing you can have so much fun in DMZ pretty much with your own little goals and thats the great thing about DMZ and other extraction, looter shooter games. The ability to do what you want and not forced to a certain playstyle etc

Airport "Loot" site, shows a plane icon.. denied area, but, you can access via the roof.. but its full of AI, Armored AI, and .. well, "Super Armored" AI.. as in " Holy shit,, what does it take to kill them?" AI. you need big guns... all of them. lots of them,.. lol. semtex doesnt take them down, not with one if they are "fresh". tons of great loot in there, but, really, you need 2 or 3 people. ive managed to get in and out, 1 out of 3 times, with a decent amount of goodies. tried way more than that, but thats the average. stay on the roof too long, and they will come after you, and, you then "alert" them, and reinforcements arrive pretty quick. orange crates, regular crates, lots of cash. but, hard A F to get to it, as there are a LOT of bots/Armored Bots/Super Soldier Bots in this area.

Something has changed this season. Exfil and pay station camping is off the charts.

I never been killed at a buy station or killed by exfil campers, so don't really no what to say about that a part from maybe learning more about situation awareness and using loads of available tools to counter both situations

Camping is a thing, but it isn’t always campers, gotta think they could of been trying to sort the gear between them before/after using the buy and you just happened to pop in front of them and stuff like that

Hmmm skeleton room? I assume you need skeleton key to get in it which is harder than getting the gear itself 😂 so I’m not sure it’s that great.. good if you got a key in a game for sure. If not forget about it. It’s a very dangerous area for AI and PVP.

I spent 15 minutes looking on my hud for heavy chopper earlier, I finally found it in Al mazzy city directly above Hummer in the high rise where sniper & Taq56 is.. I never knew it spawned thee bit I guess it makes sense with helo pad 😂

I only wish you could choose to not swap items from the secure backpack to another operator so you could hang onto it until you need it for a regain or whatever. It is a new feature though, so it definitely may be possible in the future.

I'm confused, in my solo excursions, by the point where you're 30 seconds or so into your run, and you take out a couple of AQ, in my runs there would within seconds be a heli, a vehicle, another heli and maybe one more vehicle full of T2 & T3 bots surrounding me. That doesn't appear to be happening to you. Am I doing something wrong?

Great vid as always Sin, couple of things I have noticed that may be worth a mention.. If you have the collect scavenger notes challenge on and you also plan on getting secure pack in same run, get the secure pack 1st. If you don't and you drop the notes you can't pick them back up again. Also when I changed characters earlier from secure pack with loot to a regular bag with the exfilled loot, I also still had my $35k 😂 so that was nice! But it only happened once.

Next time try putting on big back pack. Store the extra things in that one. Drop the back pack for secure one. Store big back pack inside secured back pack. Now u have 5 guns in your secure back pack and loot

Great info. I can’t wait to try the new armor vests and secure backpack. Do you only use the secure backpack on the regain character or is it beneficial on other characters as well ? I would think for PVE mission running it would be nice when using keys or other special loot. PVP probably not needed I’m guessing just trying to figure out how to setup PVP,PVE and regain characters. Thanks

It's great for regains, also missions where you may need an item which is found and needed on a other map or an item you have to extract etc. For pvp and normal use, I prefer the large backpack for stowing weapons to help with filling your contraband weapons up

@@mcnationprod yes, you keep the items though. hypothetically you could fill every slot besides one with secure backpacks. And the one slot with a mission item. Every time you die you’ll keep it, you just spawn in and put in your next secure backpack. Allowing for as many chances as backpacks.

But is a 2 plate vest pay 2 win lmao it's not the tempered vest, the only real p2w skin is the one that will come with uavs every infil and the insured slot cooldowns dont really matter if you actually play dmz you know how to decrease cooldowns fast

I will find out if there is a specific key, though have a feeling its only skeleton since it was tied ti a mission where you had to create one to go loot in there. Though I will have a guide on getting easy skeleton keys soon ( not b21 )

Spotter scope is just a better way to see far range without giving away your position and "good" solo players usually smarter i can't even count the amount of times I've caught squads off guard and wiped them without them even knowing i existed though the comm vest has made that slightly harder
