Every time I scan the bite for a crown, it never registers. It becomes this small purple image on the bottom of screen. I hold my finger on it and it says delete image. I don’t know why it always becomes a small purple image but I can’t figure it out

Thank you very much for your reply. This technology is to see hard tissues only right? does it see cavities? Are there any x rays needed or this technology is self sufficient for hard tissues visualisation for cavities?? Would any dentist ask for x rays after showing them the images of the hard tissues for cavities with this technology? Does it work for the jaw joints regarding a popping jaw that gets somewhat stuck?? Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
@@markusziman363 it only visualizes the teeth and gums and not the jaw bones. it is possible for it to see a cavity but it’s far from precise and you’ll need a dental checkup with x-rays to be sure
Distal means the side of the tooth that’s farthest away from your center line, meaning the very center front of your mouth. The mesial anatomy would be the side of the tooth closer to the center of your front teeth. Hope that helps.
