People don't understand how epic this rendition is. For those of you who don't know the back story to this song, it was written by a woman who was grieving the death of her brother. She was in the depths of anguish and pain and felt alone with no refuge from her grief, but Christ, the master of all, brought peace back into her life. This song is about so much more than Christ controlling the sea and the weather; it's about Christ bringing peace to the tempest within us. It's about him always being there for us as soon as we invite him back.
You guys must be some sort of real pros. A choir on such a massive scale, with that much unity and perfection, plus the pronouncement isn’t altered a bit! God bless you!

Master, the tempest is raging! The billows are tossing high! The sky is o’ershadowed with blackness, No shelter or help is nigh; Carest Thou not that we perish? How canst Thou lie asleep, When each moment so madly is threat’ning A grave in the angry deep? The winds and the waves shall obey Thy will, Peace, be still! Peace, be still! Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea, Or demons or men, or whatever it be, No waters can swallow the ship where lies The Master of ocean, and earth, and skies; They all shall sweetly obey Thy will, Peace, be still! Peace, be still! They all shall sweetly obey Thy will, Peace, peace, be still! Master, with anguish of spirit I bow in my grief today; The depths of my sad heart are troubled- Oh, waken and save, I pray! Torrents of sin and of anguish Sweep o’er my sinking soul; And I perish! I perish! dear Master- Oh, hasten, and take control. Master, the terror is over, The elements sweetly rest; Earth’s sun in the calm lake is mirrored, And heaven’s within my breast; Linger, O blessed Redeemer! Leave me alone no more; And with joy I shall make the safe harbor, And rest on the blissful shore. Peace Be Still, peace be still, Peace, peace, Be Still!

I was touched, and I shared this performance with many. The extraordinarily expressive delivery carried the message as well as the music itself. Who is the conductor ? The arranger? Victoria Ghulam
Something must be going on. I've been recommended this song after every video I've watched and it's recommended still plus I've watched it 4 times today already. I do choose to watch it because I do really like it but it's kinda weird but I don't mind
I now have the names of the composers: Text, Mary Ann Baker (1831-1921); Music, H.R. Palmer (1834-1907). Yet, I'd appreciate the name of the arranger of this rendition, which is so beautiful, especially that it is interpreted so magnificently. It brings tears to my heart. Thank you for the very wonderful gift of your singing. God bless you all!🙏
