Notice how the gathering didn't speed up from from activating the skill comparing the screen at 24:29 and 24:32? It's because you need to activate the skill before you send the troops out to gather, this is what the skill description "only applies to troops deployed while the skill is active" is implying. The troops will take a "snapshot" of your stats, so if you activated the gathering speedup and sent the troops to gather, even after the skill expired those troops you sent out will still be gaining the bonus gathering speedup. This works the same as the 100% resource gathering speed boost, you can test it out yourself by comparing your gathering end time before and after activating the buff while the troops are already out gather. There will be no difference, but if you recall the troops and send out again, then you will see the difference in gathering finishing time.
@@zombi9679 yes agreed. Im at 103 million current. Will jump yo 110 buy the time of sunfire in next few days. But yeah ive got pretty much the troops i want, ive been fully focused on heros, research. And of course still doing the other stat boosting stuff. But since ive focused on heroes and that other stuff. Ive been able to take down players in the 130-150 million range sometimes just because my heroes are better.
@@zombi9679 once you have 1-1.5 million troops, then you can chill out in my opinion. Since that equates to 6 full marches. And also no ones rally cap is bigger than around 1 million troops unless they are in a way older server
