I think the thing I enjoy most about this series is the fact that you and Pienix have got a great relationship and haven't forgotten the most important part of video games, and that is to simply have fun, the fact you both are laughing at the replays in one of the most try hard toxic games there is shows that your both still enjoying yourselves, it's easy to get tied up and loose the enjoyment factor. The fact your getting better is simply a bonus.
I have learned from watching this series that the hardest part about reflecting on your matches is being able to accurately point out faults in every aspect of your gameplay. Looking at this series, having a high-level player fill the role of post-match reflection seems like it is well worth the money if you have a desire for competitive play.
@@xboxlasagne he is not the nicest coach (and that's completely fine), so it has so much more impact when you finally get some praise. You really deserve it!
I started watching mostly for the coach cause a lot of the advice you're getting to some extent applies to my play as well but over time I have become invested in you improving. You're looking so much better compared to when you started the series and you're playing with a lot more purpose. I wouldn't worry much about the pressure to improve, you will naturally start seeing less drastic improvements as you get better but that's okay, the advice the coach is giving you will always be educational and keep players of all skill levels around and watching I'm sure.
I have to tell you these videos have helped me immensely to get better. I started at 4K and now I'm at 9K looking forward to hit 10K soon. You guys have an amazing dynamic and pienix explains everything well and with a lot of detail which is really impressive.
Love your series, I learn so much! I don‘t care If you would have a time you‘d plateau, we still learn everytime! So great that CS has content that are genuine interested in getting better for themselves! You two are a great team!
Juat discovered this channel. You are legit for putting this kinda stuff out. I know for me at times posting videos of gameplay can make me nervous (5k rating lol)
Love this series, keep it up. Will you consider doing a live coaching session or would that not be as beneficial? Sorry if this has been suggested a ton
It has been suggested and I have been interested in trying it. I’m a little worried about wasting an hour on what might end up being a bad (ie not useful for educational purposes) game I guess is my primary concern
I know why you pull down before you shoot because I do it too. You think someones gonna peak the angle and aim punch you most likely so you brace for it. That’s what I do anyways but it’s a bad habit I wanna fix lol.
That very first peek I've done multiple times. And 80% of the time I would be dead before I counter-strafed. (Statistics are made up, but it certainly feels like 80%)
your coach is bad *in the first instance you are right to swing wide at 1:49, everything you say about orange potentially dying is correct, if orange dies here the enemy can fallback and regroup with allies for a retake making it a 50/50 situation
i know this is old but im glad someone else said this in the comments. the coach was absolutely in the wrong there for sure, forcing the scout to 1v1 teammate with tec9, if he dies its now 3v2 retake and youve lost all advantage. the wide swing forcing a 2v1 or for the refrag was definitely the move. There is zero reason for the scout to peek into sight i dont know why he said he should stay still and hold the peek
