The test wasn't meant to test player personal skill but damage. You can tell if yasuo kite Yi or do a keyblade he will win.

Not really... it costs about 7k gold which is rageblade + botrk for Master Yi or pd + ie for Yasuo which are both much better for them

Yasuo is have double crit chance with his passive.

before the nerf he had (passively with his E) around 10% attack damage. Now he doesn't. Yasuo has his passive which grants him the double of critic chance while Yi doesn't

Yi's passive need attack speed While yasuo's passive has two uses Shield and his double crit, if he had an IE his crit is also have true damage and double by his passive
