The pocket doesn’t work once you add the boss as the flute length is only 0.5” and with the boss it becomes 0.6”. I haven’t used Mastercam before but out of interest why didn’t you create the geometry first then build the toolpaths?
KlawTor MFG: I’d still be interested to know why you didn’t build the model first then create the toolpaths- do you generally create the geometry alongside the toolpaths as and when required? If so is that because you are just working through the order you’ll do the machining?
