Giving the speaker the benefit of the doubt here, I appreciate the tongue-in-cheek meta- humor this whole video encapsulates by showing us just how long a simple title or single phrase can keep us listening while a man says nothing except for promises that he will say something interesting very soon. In effect this video is brilliant proof of the value of positioning, albeit at the expense of the speaker's reputation and the listener's time and frustration level 😊 Also the example he does eventually give would be great for about a decade ago when greenwashing was really kicking off. But it also stands to emphasize the point of this video, whether it be intentional or ironic: with the proper positioning, your cult and/or business can make traditional principles seem revolutionary.
Jokes aside, maybe he has some good things to say in his master class and this video was just a sub-optimal script that could have benefited with more concrete examples
because historically they have paid a lot for views, many series are specifically made for the clients who are interviewed and they pay to be featured. And a certain amount of views are promised to them. It’s outlined on their website
Isn't the point of great youtube videos and channels to sum up whole study fields in a few minutes for those who didn't go to college? In this case for those who just didn't study business but may apply this thinking in their area of interest/field?
@@hansovnik Sure. But this video is titled as „Masterclass“ …“the secret to standing out in any industry“. That sounds like having unique special knowledge that isn’t provided elsewhere. And that’s definitely not the case.
@@Jon-bt4zv I'm sorry but the title is 'Masterclass co-founder explains the secret to standing out in any industry' meaning the person who co-founded the platform Masterclass is giving you the the secret to standing out in any industry. Perhaps if the video was labeled as B-School, you'd write a different comment?
