Rule is full of crap. I have money in the Sprott Gold Equity Fund and it is flat in spite of a hot gold market. If RR knows so much about getting rich in mining stocks, why is the Sprott Gold Equity Fund that he controlled (until recently) such a terrible performer? My guess is that Rick Rule is taking side money to pump terrible mining stocks.
@@widehotep9257 if you actually knew anything about gold, you'd know it peaked in August and has been consolidating downwars since then. So if the Sprott gold fund is flat as you claim, that would be outperforming the falling gold price. But, you don't want logic or reason, you just want to whine because it helps you feel important.

The more I listen to Rick, the more I am convinced to stick with an ETF like SILJ, GDX or GDXJ. There are too many pitfalls in selecting individual juniors
Great Masterclass. Rick Rule is an absolute treasure in his knowledge and delivery. The wise approach to his craft is instructive to valuing investing but also life..I shared this with my early 20 something family for its "life value" Thank you Rick for giving back.
Rick is in the Retirement - Education Business. Rick shares many years of experience to teach those willing and humble enough to listen, the means and ways to invest properly into the Precious metals, Energy and related commodities. He is quite proficient and competent at what he does. Although "hands on" investment experience is an education within itself, Rick can save you lots of investment capital by listening to his investment experience to avoid many mistakes. Those entering the investment field need to get as much education as possible to achieve the desired financial results. Rick does this education end of things quite, well. Rick makes for a great start in your education. A real "been there . . . done that" person. I can’t believe that hundreds of thousands won’t listen to these pearls of wisdom. Then again, that’s probably why there are so many clueless investors out there!

Amazing. Sounds like the average needs to stick to Ricks other advice and only play the biggest and best companies in the space. Sacrifice a little bit of upside for a whole lot less risk.
I listened to this entire podcast hoping for the best mining stocks. I guess I'll have to stick with an etf. SLVP and SIL. Anyone else got a better idea?
Of course the lazy way is to follow 'those who know best' like our friend here, ES, RF, RB etc into their chosen investments. You just have to decide on a good entry price, as you sure as hell won't get in when they did, or pay what they did.
I hope you see this comment as I am someone who hasn't taken chances in life (sadly at age 34) and also I have not the funds to spend on what ifs , however I am far more troubled of what's to come in the world economy and have been looking hesitantly but firmly for any opportunity. Not necessarily for quick returns but a possible future investment overtime . I have never once spent money through the stock market mainly because I'm far too hesitant and I guess scared I'm not doing it right. I make barely 30k a yr so you can imagine how little I have to invest and possibly loose money when i need a new transmission for a car every two years because I cant afford a monthly payment and have to buy a car close to 200k miles because its cheap enough to afford only in a short term. Any advice on how to go about investing into stock with 1k USD in Aurcana would be greatly appreciated . Thank you in Advance
