Another quick tip if youre piloting the attack helo: when you spawn in, shoot one rocket, then reload. usually you start with 8 rockets (if youre using Zuni's) and another 8 in reserve. but if you shoot one rocket and then reload, you will slowly get a few more rockets in reserve. so once you fly out of your base, you'll have 8 rockets loaded, and 16 in reserve.
@@nono-lz7en I know some tips as well, apart from this one in this comment. I know the zouzou jump, the attack team on rush trick, the defensing team on rush trick, the rocket trick, the mortars tip and many others. Hardly you would find a veteran who doesn't know it..
I wish there was a single player campaign for the attack heli, something like Desert Strike. I love flying it but i always come up against dudes like you, so it's not fun :(
We just leave the server when there’s sweaty pilots. Some maps it’s just impossible to deal with a skilled chopper pilot. Ain’t fun being camped by a heli.
@@MrDK0010 nahh. If the map doesn't have a stealth jet, just leave. No point in getting farmed on a map that has no real counter to the attack heli. Manpads are 100% a waste of time, trying to use them is asking to get farmed. Saying this as an experienced gunner
bro you need a dedicated team to destroy it and good communication once you have it all. the chopper will be nothing and you will stomp it everytime. just have 2 players with rangefinder or binoculars and lock on the attack chopper and have another guy with javelin rocket ez kill
@@omar619kamis Its that what I talk about it all the time, the attack helis are good because they had skill but they wouldn't stand to much with only skill without teamwork. Only way to counter both skill and teamwork is by doing the same thing, take an PLD aim at it have another player with the javelin. That is more OP than the attack heli itself
@@SilkOCE I would prefer if they could add BF2 helicopters in new BF instead of BF3/4 helis. The 2v2s were fun af. The TVs were better in BF2 and the maximum amount of ammo made more sense and was good for the gameplay.
Pilot: intense gameplay in which you must manuover around the environment, take accurate rocket shots with your positioning of the heli, know when to take cover and use ecm, etc. Gunner: >remove left hand 80% of time >point-click adventure game >rack up 400 killstreak in 20 minutes >gg ez

awesome vid silk, however i somewhat disagree with what you said about using tows and tv's only after you put some damage in... sure if you're bum rushing the other heli then yes it's more reliable to use zunis and cannons, but the pilot has 2 tows that regen relatively quickly, and if well placed, can end the fight before it even starts. tows are much hard to dodge too as their turn radius is smaller than the tv, so in my opinion (an i'm an experienced pilot) it's best to open up with a tow, and if it misses then switching to zunis
BF4 servers are not really friendly for new players still trying to rank up, unlock weapons or learn machanics. I played BF4 from its launch but never got into piloting and now every enemy pilot on the server has everything unlocked and knows the meta. So kinda frustrating to try learn piloting now. Basically veterans of the game will dominate the server regardless.

I'm not a fan of seat swapping but it's obviously a very effective tactic. I haven't been able to comms with attack chopper pilot/gunner since bf3. TV missiles are chef's kiss
2 attack helicopters actually. The one that everyone thought was a Hind looks to be a futuristic version of the MI-17 which would put it as the transport variant for the Russians. It would be the counterpart of the Osprey we have seen in the game which also has a futuristic appearance. Both transport helicopters seem to have 3 remote controlled gunner seats. Another thing to note is that Zuni rockets are more reliable without a doubt, but I would like to point out that Hydras have really high splash damage and have a high chance of killing pilots out of through their cockpits if you can hit your shots. I prefer Hydras when I fly solo but if I have a really good gunner I’ll run Zuni’s.
Generally I can use attack helicopters good, but hard thing is to get the helicopter in Shanghai. There is always someone else taking the attack helicopter before me, also another issue is having no gunner friend
I got in a chopper the other day on ps5 and I never do vehicles in any of the battlefields I mainly just infantry and I took off and already had a laser on me and multiple rockets in the air and got wrecked in about 15 seconds trying to fly away. Or if I'm in a tank before I get out of spawn a plane bombs me or a chopper lights me up.
I would love to see some gameplay on some maps like firestorm or gulf of oman. Just those large scale maps. I think it's a little more difficult to run supreme on maps with attack jets and such

The gunner box is great for when there's no comms and your playing with a rando, pilots know where the gunners aiming and gunners can roughly see where the pilots aiming too
I see some good tips. Although I am more of an anti vehicle pilot. I tend to go for tanks etc first but in reality...taking out the infantry will make the tanks muuch less effective.

Decent question from an engie player, do you deem igla users more dangerous than stinger users? I'm guessing not from the point of view of a pilot, since most experienced chopper pilots are always ducking and weaving through cover and the igla has to hold lock. But it is worth asking since the igla is damage-wise more lethal to a heli.
I feel like the attack heli is one of the few cases where the BFV attrition system would actually be a pretty good nerf as it would give infantry more breathing room on maps like these were a good pilot is basically unkillable lmao Hated the system for infantry and planes and especially fucking tanks, it completely ruined tanks as they would just camp out of range and near a resupply station and just never die. But on the attack heli it might just be what it needs. Either way its a very tough vehicle to balance properly.
Bruh, Airswapping and unspotting are the single most sweat tactic I have ever seen. You really have to have no game honor to do shit like this after you basically lost a fight, just to keep that KD up

Attack Heli is only Overpowered on Shanghai because of how the map layout is suited best for it. But Attack Heli is not overpowered, a very good pilot makes it overpowered

None of the good vehicle players ever talk about what to do if you are getting farmed like this because there’s nothing you can do I really hope dice balanced vehicles vs infantry in 2042 we need AAs and better ground items that we can used but also at the same time I don’t want vehicles to be bad in 2042 because they look fun to use and I’m the type of guy that if something is op I just don’t use it like the aek I don’t need that to be good at the game I’m all about fun while staying competitive so I just hope they do a good job because I would love to have fun sniping and fighting on the ground and also flying a jet and drive a tank
I am good at battlefield and you probably are too, it just this guy is on a whole new level. I work 40-50 hours a week and grab @5-10 hours of gaming a week. If we both put in the same amount of time as him we would be the ones making these videos.
Well sadly didnt mention the pilot swap exploit for tv missile. Pilots go 200+ kills on 400ticket server doing it and it ruined bf4 for me. And I use the SRAW with 27k kills as heli hunter.
While Air Swapping is technically a valid strategy, is kind of a dick move, just like it was stealing air assets from the enemy base back in BF 3. It would be more fun and challenging for both to try to land and do repairs with an engi kit, making you momentary vulnerable to infantry and give a chance for enemy heli's to come back.I dont know about you but this kind of piloting, while being super effective, sucks the joy out of the game not only for your enemies, but your own team as well.
Honestly, i respect your skill and teamwork with the attack heli, but playing against two guys like you isnt fun, it’s annoying as hell... I hope that this will not be the case with bf 2042, that these things aren’t as strong.
yeah, on one hand, its nice that air vehicles rewards immense skill and effort, but then being able to be a unkillable deathmachine is not quite fun for the enemy team, especially if you want to try to learn one for yourself.I just hope they still do rewards big skill/time efforts on airvehicles(which they obv. will do), but also increase counter measures, especially counters that are able to be used by non pro pilots, but this would be quite hard to invent, because i myself cant really think of a sufficient enought method of nerfing them in a fair way, without making them freekills
i almost always play this map now and i have been forced to use engineer a lot which i never really used before. doesnt always work but when it does its amazing. i mostly just try to be an annoyance and give my team a break
I agree, but if you spend a lot of time in something like a hobby or work in this case a videogame you will become good at it. Which is pretty annoying for people that are not as good as they are (like myself). But if you keep playing against pro players it wil eventually make you a better player.✌🏾
It will as long as idiots make bait videos like this. Remember jack frags made a video like this for the Heavy Bomber for battlefield 1. The pick rate for that thing sky rocketed and became the most annoying shit in the game
You're the reason why some servers have kill caps per individual in AH. I admire your skill, but must say, I do ANYTHING against players like you in lobby. Ramming and all.
Against professional players on killstreaks this is fine, yeah a cliche tactic but i mean it would rather do that than have 90 kill enemy chopper above in the sky But well against enemies who are evenly matched with the team (like the chopper is actually dying or kept at bay to some point while also scoring kills at same time than i despise such tactic)
