I'm a GPT power user. And this is THE best prompt engineering video I've seen yet. Sure, it's great for SEO, but the concept explained here of multiple inputs to "train" the AI on a topic is exemplary. Bravo, sir! I hope you get what you deserve for making such a great video.
took the words from my mouth my man. as cool as learning more about SEO would be, ChatGPT and these ai tools in general have huge potential outside of seo and general marketing
Hello Hamish, William here from Virginia USA, I had a similar script almost 20 years ago to automatically create webpages. The way you have used CHATGPT and the other tools brings this to a whole new level for me. Wanted to say thank you for all your great content. Keep up the GREAT work.
@@you2449 really it was a template script to generate pages filled with different keywords and graphics. The internal linking script the Hamish provided is more useful.
Wow... I thought I had been testing some cutting edge prompting for SEO. You just blew my mind. Very impressed. I'm going to get my hands dirty with this immediately! Your a total prompting super star. Thank you
lol how is he a genius ? He's using ai and showing you his scheme on how to get around duplicate content. What he is showing you is a geuss at best on his part which he put little effort into.
@@JeffreyHartman-wl3mz the spreadsheet with links that are automatically gonna be embedded just with keywords for every article he will write in the future and not having to manually add it is genius to me. How he made the script for that and how it can be applied. Maybe not for you but for me definitely.
Thanks so much for the video!! 2 Questions: 1. How did you get the list of Keywords in the first place? 2. Can you please make a follow-up video after the blog post is created and how to run the script exactly on the blog post? Amazing!! Keep up the great work!
@@jc4evur661 yep. They say they will not penalize it BUT once they feel threatened I have no doubt. Using ChatGPT to write content IMO is extremely risky. To help write it is where I think its power lies. I've also not had a single piece written by ChatGPT really rank well so you still should tweak it if you do use it to write the content. It's help us write and cuts some time but overall IMO you still have to tweak and really make it work before hitting the publish button.
@@butternut8901 in a few words. ask it "i would like to create a book. can you help me?" and follow the steps it outlines. feed the results back into it and loop the steps.
very cool but if a lot of people do the same thing it's a race to the bottom (quantity over quality methods), the main thing with ChatGPT I see is people who are lazy and don't want to write a report for school, they can just let AI do it for them. I even came across a ChatGPT video where they show you how to trick the AI Detector (which teachers use to identify if a paper/report was written by AI), you have to take the output from ChatGPT and then ask it to re-write it again with explicit instructions (sentence structures that are less symmetrical, he referred to it as 'bursty').
If you or anybody else watching this were real, like those of us who run everything you see - you’d be too busy getting paid every second off your campaigns to be dicking around posting RU-vid videos
"Great video! This really helped me understand how to use ChatGPT for creating optimized content for SEO. The tips and tricks shared were very informative and useful. Thank you for sharing your expertise!" - A message from ChatGPT
Great video: out of interest, have you taken one of the completed articles GPT wrote along with this entire prepping process and run it through a content grader such as Clearscope? It would be interesting to see how it scores against the top ten ranking pages. Great video and thank you
Bro please keep providing this info and STAY THIS FAST. I hate it when people are so slow with instructions. If we don't get it, we can rewind your ass. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your video every day. I have never been so excited to be implementing your suggestion to my business, and looking forward to your videos everyday. It's unfortunate that I do not have access to GPT4 API but the day you mentioned about the API I added myself on the waiting list. Please continue your excellent work and thank you very much!
#Gatekeeper , bet you're an amazingly giving, loving, person in real life. 300+ million people in the United States and an internet, money making machine for all but you want to keep your foot on people's neck so that your higher and they're lower..... Telling on yourself brother, telling on yourself. Bet you didn't know your little RU-vid comment could reveal so much about yourself, did you?
Amazing videos.. learning so much from your videos.. i started writing for my Shopify Store only after seeing ur amazing videos.. they are so freaking helpful and appreciated 👍
Thanks very much for this. I've understood most of it but you lost me on the part where the srcipt creates the links. I have the script added and it runs, and I know how to process a lot of Excel rows, but I don't see how it generates the keywords and links.
Thanks brother for the valuable content. I have a question: What about Google's AI content detector? Didn't Google penalize my sites from topping the search results?
This is anecdotal, but I've been hearing some horror stories in my ad partner network. Honest bloggers are contracting VAs to write blog posts and they are (unknowingly) receiving content generated by chatGPT. Whole sites have been deprioritized and their average position tanked. I use chatGPT to learn code and help me stylize my site, but I would never use it to generate copy.
I am super confused regarding the internal linking code part. Can you explain it further? And how to apply it on other niches like alternative remedies??
@@jakabjacso141 You enter a keyword and destination for the keyword like an article youve wrote about it and put those into the code. When you have a ton of key words like him, it will scan your doc and hyperlink each of those keywords ONCE
Hey! thanks for this video, your work is amazing! Just a question... a little unsure about the script and what it does. Does it only work if you have an e-commerce store setup? What was the actual purpose of it? Was it to import a bulk amount of keywords into Chat GPT? That part was a little confusing.
Also, i got this error when trying to add the code "Syntax error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token '}' line: 1 file: Code.gs" any idea how to proceed with this?
Great video! Thank you! I have a question, however: I understand what the script does, but I was wondering about how you generate the keyword/links that were added to the script? Do you have a process for generating those specific keywords/links?
I was able to figure out how this works for me. You create the script with the keywords and link. Have gpt spit out your blog or whatever. Paste it into Google docs. Use the extensions at the top to pop your keywords and links into. Execute it. Approve. Approve. Approve. And then go back to the doc and all your keywords will now be links. Copy. Paste to blog. Done.
yess. this is a game changer.. i started by putting my biz info and and although technical i think i got it. train it to work for my brand not general content! awesome and brilliant! thank you for sharing!❤️🦋
how did you collect they keywords ? after running the script, he pretty much has a separate file full of keywords that already has a lot of links attached to each keyword. where did that file come from
Clever and handy tricks for sure. Creating fresh new readable online web content though is not like this. It’s intelligent keyword stuffing. It’s basically recycling existing content well and including your research in the equation.
Wow, great work mike, youtube is populate the stuff by the great knowledgeable people like you. Thanks for your kind sharing. great work. keep it up and grow fast.
In Chat GPT-4 don't ask "her" "do you understand?". Complete every prep prompt, close it with a "." and THEN tell her "Just confirm that you understand". If you just ask "her" if she understands, she will acknowledge and then she will immediately start writing the article. On the end of every PREP prompt just tell her "Just confirm that you understand". Cheers. Update: "Just" is not effective any more" Replace it with "Only". (="Only confirm that you understand")
Loved this... at least, being exposed to what ChatGPT can do and how to prepare and prompt it to give you more customized content. That was fantastic. Tried following along for my topic and all was going well until the app script. Couldn't get it to run on my Google doc. I know you're fast and I'm not. Something didn't work. I reviewed permissions and then nothing.
i had the same problem. i received an error and couldn't proceed. I wasn't sure what the script was actually for. Can't you just add keywords to a spreadsheet by importing them and then copy/pasting them into the Chat?
"It's a hell of a lot quicker than doing it yourself"... finding that doing this just now took me longer than it would have to write it. Plus, I had to fix up a lot of oddities, but yeah, it's getting there
🟠 Great info! thank you Hamish. Just a heads up, there is some low-grade rumbling when you are typing that is distracting, and especially so when you have headphones on that transmits these frequencies. Sounds like maybe a steel desk you are typing on? otherwise great content, thanks.
Hi. I noticed that before this, you put a link to a video explaining about Google Keyword Planner. Now, there's just a link to your video on backlinking. Thank you.
the script to bulk add links is nice! Also, owning many of the brands mentioned in your article, love suggestion that 20 year olds these days would be able to afford an Attolini suit lol (highly recommend adding to your wardrobe though!) 😃
I use a language translator, I only understand Spanish, I almost passed by this channel, bored of so much Chatgpt information, the first time in my life that I leave a comment without even watching the video, the first time in my life that I almost subscribe to a youtube channel without even watching the videos, you know why? because of the quality of the comments in 2 videos that I already saved to watch from your channel, with more tranquility. Greetings from Argentina
Hey, thanks for the info. I figured this out yesterday. Not giving it complete set of instructions can cause it to not adhere to certain commands like- write an article on xyz.:)
Thank you for the content. it was useful, and I'm looking forward to more videos from you. Please try to adjust your microphone's position, as the keyboard sound was quite distracting.
Can you explain more about why linking to the keywords is important? Do I need to create content for each one of the keywords that are linked? Im not sure why linking to a single word is important. typically I have linked things back to other blogs I have written about and thats it. Can you help explain the goal?
Very clear and detailed instructions. Many thanks! question with regards to the keyword/script process, why not just use the download option in Keyword Plan directly (top right, below Google Account ID) ? Does it not do the same thing -a few steps and scripting need? Or am I missing something (always a possibility)
i used CHPT to write my product descriptions, for both my products and amazon products i sell as an affiliate. you cant use amazons prod desc...so i copied the title of the product (on my site) and put in Chat and bam! prod decsr done!
To understand the script, I first need to manually come up with a keyword list with desired links on my site. Then add them to the script? I am confused on what exactly the script does since I am doing manual work?
As someone who doesn't know SEO and is helping people build their youtube channel, I did not quite understand the script part of the video. I copied your script and pasted it on App Script but I did not understand the steps after that. My questions is, where do you get the hyperlinks from? and how is this script helping us rank in the search engine?
