Yeah! Bossche Bollen. They were the favourite at about 10 am, with coffee, for birthdays in the office when I worked in Oss. Everybody would get together in the department's meeting room.

These look truly wonderful! They are fine, even if they aren't "perfectly round." I think being a bit lazy, I will just visit my wonderful local bakery. They make marvelous treats, and there isn't a single dish to wash!

Love these videos I have recently got interested in making as many Dutch recipes as I can as I love the country it's culture etc. Are their any recipes celebrating the invention of the Dutch water windmills (I can't remember the names of them)?
Spray a little water on the dough just before you put them in the oven, this will cause a better rise of the dough and they look more like the real thing!.. veel succes :)
