On click of one of the navigation items in the list, add an action that closes the drop down either before or after navigation. Can’t remember without looking which one you do first - close menu or navigate. But if I remember correctly the order matters.
This is really helpful thank you! But I am missing the final part of the interaction: click one of the dropdown options, the title of the dropdown changes to recent clicked one and the navigation to the new screen appears. How do you do all of that with one click? help pls! I am on a deadline and can't finish my prototype thanks to the d@mn dropdown interaction :(
If I’m following, what you need to do is set the title on the dropdown that you are clicking to the page you want to navigate to. If you want the dropdown to look different on that page - be highlighted to show that is the page you are on, then make that change on that specific page to the navigation. .
