No, probably you have play around 3 to 4 matches but you lose it take more matches 😅

It's quite easy to raise proficiency. Just pick up a hero you haven't used before and play them in standard or ranked. (FYI, proficiency is that small symbol that shows near your hero when starting a match and you can just play a new hero two times to raise their proficiency from trainer to veteran)
