Quick clarification: at 5:19 I said that they Hyper bonus sticks around for the rest of the match. I misspoke here and meant to say round. Each round an Illuvial will need to fill it's hyper bonus bar before it gains the benefits of "going hyper".
Amazing breakdown of all the affinities and how they apply! A video with all the omega abilities would be a monumental task but much appreciated. Great work!

holy crap there's alot to this game... not sure if that's a good thing or bad... I think once a person learns how to play this game its gonna get addictive
Yeah it's not for the faint of heart. At some point, hopefully soon, the team will be implementing in-game tutorials. But at some level the player needs to say "I'm going to make the effort to build a team and learn this game. One of the main reasons I never really got into LOL is because it was too complicated for me at the time. I would say Illuvium is a bit easier than LOL though there is just as much to learn especially if you want to reach the higher ranks.

Happy to help! I think your problem is that you have Illuvials from the same line on the board. Illuvials in the same line can only count toward a synergy once. So for example if you had Lesser Fire Fliish, Greater Fire Fliish and Exalted Fire Fliish on the board at the same time you would only get 1 added to the fire affinity. Similarly if you have all members of the Axotle line on the board for example: Atlas - Water Affinity Axon - Water Affinity Axodon - Tsunami Affinity You would get 1 added to the water Synergy and 1 added to the Tsunami synergy. Does that help?
So in the pvp arena you can’t fuse Illuvials though you can bond your ranger to an illuvial to give your ranger a composite class and composite affinity. Ranger weapon + illuvial dominant class and affinity = the composite class and affinity. However in the overworld if you’ve caught three of the same kind of illuvial, and all three have met the leveling threshold you can fuse them together into the next stage. As an illuvial is fused into its higher stages it gains composite class and affinities. I hope that makes sense! ☺️

@@kevinswasted When on the board there will be a + above your rangers health bar, you can see an example at 4:22 in the video. You click that then click on the Illuvial you want to bond it to. If at any point in the game you want to unbond your ranger from that Illuvial you would need to sell the unit the ranger is currently bonded to. The main class of the ranger is determined by the weapon. Swords - fighter class Shields - Bulwark Class Pistol - Psion Class Staff - Empath Class Dagger - Rogue Class If you had a fire dagger on your ranger and bond it with a water Illuvial like atlas your ranger would become a Steam (Fire + Water) Vanguard (Bulwark + Rogue) You can also change your Rangers composite class by giving it a new weapon at any time during the fight.
