this is a perfect tutorial, though what is the type of sheet metal used and what is its gauge, please?

It is Galvanised Steel Sheetmetal, thickness 0.7mm. We use it all the time, it is the best but please don't use thicker if it is for students projects. The high school kids are not strong enough and it is hard on the hand tools. Thickness of 0.7mm seems to be the sweet spot for us. Still nice and strong and easy to work with. For more information check this out - impactsteel.com.au/steel-products-new/galvanised-steel/#:~:text=When%20steel%20is%20hot%2Ddipped,also%20combats%20other%20weather%20conditions. Thank you for reaching out too. Good luck, let me know how you go.
