Project Farm did a great video on batteries. Turns out the energizer had the best $per watt hour.

Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries have worked well for me. I use the less expensive white ones. I haven't bought traditional batteries since ~2015. I still have Eneloops with a manufacture date of March 2014 that seem to be working well.

Good batteries in a radio, always. Rememeber when Duracell and ENergizer had battery life meters built into the packaging, and then on the battery? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Those were great and convenient! Windex cleans corroded battery terminals really well.

I have had a remote or two get messed up from this problem an took all my batteries out of the remotes and gave them to the baby for her toys. Now I keep a fresh big pack of energizer in my hand bag I keep my important stuff for my rcs in that i take everywhere i go when crawling. That way I know I have fresh batteries for the remotes and there not sitting with batteries going bad in them.

I only use potatoes to power my RTR radios. They don’t corrode, but they do eventually rot and get stinky.

I’ve had to train myself to remove batteries from my transmitters when I’m not using them. Learned that the hard way.

I've put Sanyo Eneloops (NiMh) in my Traxxas Slash tx and I've soldered small LED voltage meter on the base. Works like a charm :-)

Energizer Lithium AA’s Only in my stock TXs, they have the ultimate extended runtime with resilience to high and low temperatures.

I prefer to use the USB rechargeable type lithium ion AA 1.5v batteries. The voltage is correct and they don't leak like primary cells

Just keep a bunch of eneloops in them. They practically dont self-discharge and they don't leak ever.

Unfortunately I must add first LOL I Do by the Energizer lithium ion batteries they are expensive for sure but they haven't corroded on me yet knock on wood...that is the MAIN reason I get the high dollar remote batteries. It is a better piece of mind ESPECIALLY when ya know what happens if one leaves the battery in too long!!! One of them been there done that....not again deals 😂

I use rechargeable batteries (from Harbor Freight). I always take them out of the remote when not in use (mostly because my GT5 loves to drain batteries even when turned off).

I use Panasonic Battery's AA, an AAA. I got this HOTRC 6ch and it has 3 different power options or such. Anyways in the handle you can put a 4v 18650 Cell and use battery pack or AA's. Cell and battery pack. Kind of cool not sure why. The controller is ok. got it for winch an light controlls. heheh which works great,.

I always take Battery's out when it gets put up. Unplug lion an lipos . Good to Go next time you want to play. :) Some rechargeable AA's Suck for controllers and i don't trust them.

Im trying to broaden my knowledge on motors and designs. Im in a shop, replace a window motor, opened it up and have this coil now. Wondering if i could use this as a foundation. Ik its probably way out there but, i was able to wire solar to my light bar w a solar sensor. Wondering if i could repurpose parts

Good batteries, but almost always take them out when not in use (most of my rigs are on a transmitter with a lipo), but for the ones that aren't, it's better safe than sorry. It takes ten seconds... lol.

I get mine at Ross for like half price, constantly leave a controller on so they never make it to corrosion point😅
