Hey, that was awesome. I'm a sadako main and I've loved her for so long. Glad to see new people playing her and having fun! I definitely agree with a lot of points but honestly i just love her because she lets me play.... chaotically. I love getting in the survivors heads, making them second guess every action. A personal favorite move is to approach while demanifested from an unexpected angle. A lot of survivors have started to rely on the lullaby she has while demanifested, but that's the thing: its not directional. This means when approaching from weird angles, like teleporting to a farther tv than your goal and doubling back, you often get survivors walking right into you Edit: sorry for long I get excited
Yeah she definitely not only allows but promotes a chaotic style of play. You can be very none committal in chase while still keeping control of the game. You can surprise survivors. You can cut them off by tping. I'm with you, you can just play free. This series really made me get an appreciation for the Sadako and is definitely one of my favorite killers now!
I appreciate this video, most sadako guide videos are either from when she first dropped or from when she was absolutely busted, so this video is very nice to finally have as someone who's been learning sadako since about january :P

Congrats on learning ghost girl I’ve mained her since her release. One thing people don’t realize is how versatile sadako is when choosing a play style for her. While most don’t considered her a chase I like to think she has something with her manifestation and de manifestations especially with watch and news paper addons. That’s how I mainly play her chase with tv management since that’s how I like to play than guard gens. But that’s just me.

Guess my account really isnt searchable XD, good job you came a long way from the first few matches. I was a little worried you would stay in the chaos shuffle which would skew your progress alot but you still picked up hard. Glad another person is spreading the joys of Sadako and im glad your found her fun to play shes an exceptionally fun killer and defnitely deserves more love. Hopefully this will signal a wave of new enjoyers.
Hahah sorry man. RU-vid was not giving me many options at all. But I just watched a few of your vids and you are shredding with sadako! But yes, chaos shuffle was fun to get my footing but it did help when I started to use builds that really work for her. It blows my mind that people dont play her because she does have such a fun playstyle. Hopefully more people at least give her a chance now!
@@SthLoopStraz No worries! Just means gotta keep up the grind lol. Thanks I try my best and I always keep a lookout for something that might push her further. Outside of the obvious of all her changes I think one thing that pushes people away is her inherent roughness to learn. She's not a chaser and learning to manage condemn and her tps requires you to have enough hours in the game to have built decent game awareness and enough comfort to divide your attention. That I think is what throws people off her before they've given it enough of a college try as well as the new stigma she's getting, not to the level of skullys but pretty close. Outside what you've learned there's still a few more tricks in her toolkit that can push you even further. Good luck on your next vid I hope you eventually master every killer!
@@Psycho_View Thats so true. The amount of multitasking you have to do is wild! You have to be counting codemn, monitoring tapes, monitoring gens. Its a lot. But appreciate you watching the vid. Good luck on your videos as well!

so. with Onryo you have no terror radius in demanifested mode. so u can camp around a corner and wait for someone to come around then un manifest and destroy them. shes my main. id smash frfr
I just started playing her and I love her, its been 3 days already beating p50-p100 and catching people off-guard using tvs to help me I’m chase and condemn at the same time. The amount of times I’m actually able to kill people early is insane
I’ve been a huge fan since I watched both Rings as a kid all those years ago and I was so happy when they brought her to the game. Easily top 3 for me, I mainly play Legion and Skull Merchant, 2 disliked killers but idgaf lmao. I play very unconventional and make it works so usually people aren’t too annoyed.
New to dbd loving these videos as there helping me not suck so much😂. Youve also inspired me to try start a channel. Keep up the great videos. Any chance you make a tutorial on the trapper
I've been playing with her since her launch, I know the bad things and everything she's had to change, and her (her main skill) has had more changes than any change in her addons lol and her addons help her a lot at a very high level, and there are times when I agree that the iridescent addons do not reach the level of her purple, or yellow/green addon, anyway, the doll nowadays is more acceptable than her 1 rework from a month ago, I have fun, I love her and I buy skins, cosmetics outside of dbd and such I'm leveling up my sadako's prestige in search of 100, I'm currently over 76, and it's cool to see someone, even if they're a foreigner (I'm Brazilian) playing with her, thanks for the video friend!
Solid info and great vid! Here's my build on Sadako: devour hope, undying, mindbreaker, and knockout. I've been chewing through survivors with it and even took down two bully squads. With this build, i let them worry about the 7 stacks while I'm focused on gens, chasing, and ofc d stacks. Usually, by the 3rd stack, they are scrambling. The add ons are mothers' mirror always, and i like to go clump or well water. I play stealthy as opposed to flying out the tv lol. The start is exceptionally dangerous for survivors because you can usually manifest and tag them or even pull them off a gen. Once hooked, you can immediately clear the distance with her tp, and immediately tp back when they're pulled. It gets tense when that first devour mori happens, I wouldn't want to be survivor against it.
I don’t know if this means much, but Sadako is my absolute favorite horror movie icon, right under Freddy Krueger. After being not much of horror fan and playing Dead by Daylight, I decided to watch all the licensed killers’ movies, and let me tell you- Ringu and The Ring are very underrated in my opinion, and so is how they took her into mind when designing The Onryō’s gamplay. But thus is DBD lol 😅 You did an amazing job playing her yourself, and I commend you for trying to learn her lol!
Watching the movie was a lot of fun because I remember when that American version dropped, everyone was so freaked out by her and the movie. Now, I get to play as her and hopefully caused some jump scares myself. Glad you are also a scary movie enthusiast and glad you enjoyed watching my journey

I play sadako a lot, I use a insta down build, just pick a gen and use dragons grip and once a survivor gets exposed just teleport back and repeat, easy👹
@@SthLoopStraz I say use a indoor male like the doctors and since I have p6 sadako, it’s easy for her to blend in with the walls and I like to hide near the gen so I can get a grab or free down, it’s just so fun and after the game I like let the survivors go it’s like a friendly jump-scare build I like to do
As a p34 sadako who's played all versions I had to just take a break. V1 was a crazy fun glass cannon v2 was a mindless spam condemned clicker and V3 is somewhere in the middle. Honestly Ive always viewed her as a glorified cat hearder. You create dead zones of pallets if you start to get blood lust 1 you generally leave and find someone else and you try to push them into that dead zone of pallets. Her best build is still her solo targeting builds. However I have been having a lot of success with previously bad perks for her like thano dying light. She's still a lot of fun but learning the differences between all the versions was a lot for us dedicated sadako mains. Lately I'm more interested in skull merchant for the similar feeling of macro gameplay you get.
Each version are very interesting, not a huge fan of v2 which made her very unfun, v1 version I loved but had a really long tv cooldown which made her weak But man her v3 nerfed version right after the ptb was something I'll never forgive the devs for What a rollercoaster of a time she got over the past 2 years
@@jaymatsu2367 v1 was actually the strongest for advanced Onyros purely for iri tape that rewarded you being able to correctly make accurate teleports. V2 was the best for newer players in the sense if you did not find someone just press teleport and someone is going to get condemned but out of all versions it's the slowest build up of condemned which makes it significantly more manageable. Play with your food also worked differently just press demanaifest and you immediately get a stack. V3 is slightly stronger than v2 because you can build up condemned quicker than v2 but is still not at quick as v1. If I had to pick the healthiest one for the game it would be ptb v3 or if they would of just slight nerfed iri tape with v1 they could avoided all future versions and kept the game pretty balanced. Both those versions in my opinion were low A tier. I would like every killer to be A tier because that keeps killers intimidating but not significantly overpowered like nurse blight and huntress.
Yeah I can imagine with the amount of changes she has been through and can be tough for Sadako mains. Near the start of the process I was looking at patch notes because I remember she had just gotten tweaked and realized there has been a lot of changes
@@SthLoopStraz it messes up your timing of how often you need to teleport v1 force tp on 1 or 2 people. V2 tp every 10 seconds you should never have it on cool down. V3 get down as quickly as possible hook then half way through match randomly ramp up your tp frequency. Although the hardest part I had trouble adjusting to was audio cues because v1 had chase music while manifested v2 did not V3 did. It would make me easily lose track of when I was manifested vs de manifested and it also significantly impacts play with your food. V1 you walked backwards to get play with your food stacks V2 you clicked the demanifest button v 3 it's back to moon walking except now you don't have to worry about pallet stuns while walking backwards lol
If fewer people play tv girl the better. As a survivor she is annoying to against in solo que cus someone will get moried at 4 gens. I’ll definitly be playing her. I mean tbh any killer should be winning 70% of their games unless they have grace for the survivors but 4ks are so easy it honestly doesn’t matter who you play
I know you got progressively better and I'm really late with this, but I would like to say this now: You really should use your TP as much as possible, even if you're in case use it to cut off survivor or get condemned up. Just teleport whenever possible
I’ve had a lot of singularity requests so that will probably be next. That was my first request for twins tho which could be interesting because I suck at twins
Watching you on Day 4 you really got to teleport a lot lot more. Personally I focus condemn and map pressure, teleporting pretty much every 20-30 seconds to spread pressure and condemn all around the map. As sadako you can get from one side of the map to the other in literally seconds so you need to abuse that. Why would you hook somebody 3 times when you can insta kill them after 7 teleports if they are nearby a tv which is usually near a gen. There are different styles to play her I suppose but doing this I very rarely get less than 3 kills a game.
That's what I don't get. How do you know you've hit someone with your teleport and how do you even keep track of that? I mean, I get it if you chase a person to a TV and TP afterwards. But doing that 7 times feels very time consuming.
@@pascalschwerdtmann4397 you can see on the survivor portraits on the left side of your screen. They will have a whitish circle over them, and it will glow up for a second if they have been hit by condemn. It’s not that time consuming since you can hit all 4 survivors in 1 to spreading condemn. I usually get atleast 1 or 2 condemn kills per match.
YES. Her little stubby arms had me whiffing when I thought I was in range. I thought I was losing my mind but I had to relearn when I could lunge with her
You basically have to mentally count. When their icon lights up on the side hub, they have gained a stack. If they are hooked, up to 3 stacks of condemn are locked in. I mentally track 1 or 2 survivors
