In this tutorial, Antionio stops by Stylized Station to share his workflow that he uses to create his stylized assets, using Blender 2.9 for the modeling, and 3D Coat for the handpainted/texturing portion.

Dude I subscribed to the 3d coloring book this past weekend. Its a nice idea but whats with using premade materials and not having them for download with the ssp file? Or even going over how you created it? You go over wood multiple times but metal you almost always use a stylized pre made one and tell people to get it at your patreon. So to get the materials you use I have to subscribe to your parteon aswell as the 3dcoloring book?

@@Daniel-tj6mc Hey man! Thanks for letting me know, this is good feedback. Which tutorial are you talking about? I can definitely add in the stylized metal as a download, I must have missed it. I'm currently working on a BIG tutorial for the coloring book where I go over stylized metals in detail as well. Should be out in a few weeks! I'm just taking me sweet time making sure the script is clean.

Great tutorial but the title... "Mastering Stylized Assets with Blender, Zbrush, 3D Coat, Photoshop and Marmoset" would be the correct thing.

the specular light baking process can only be done in marmoset 3 version. the 4 version doesn't include the specular lighting map option in texture map configure tab

Nice trick with glossy highlights! To see the wireframe you can actually press W on keyboard :) Btw this is not a handpainting :( stylized - yes.

he's using older version of marmoset, in v4 removed 3 light channels (difuse lighting, specular & materila lighting)

it needs more tutorials with the in house tools of blender for creating stylized. if you are a beginner you probably don't wanna buy zbrush, 3d Coat or an Abo of Substance Painter. I know these Tools are awesome and you can try it out for a month but a beginner needs more time then 30 days ( mostly cause he can't test train try it all the day).

Don't need to pay for the addon "TexTools" is always been a free AddOn you can find the ZIP file from the Github. Link in here: github.com/SavMartin/TexTools-Blender/releases/tag/TexTools_2.9x The original addon was created on 3DMax and later ported Blender 2.79 by the developer, unfortunatly is not longer supported by him but people had ported it to lastest Blender 2.80x & 2.90. Original Link and its features: renderhjs.net/textools/blender/ Great tutorial, love both softwares and keep creating such a good quality tutorials.
