Hey loves ! Welcome to the 5th video in my Natural Hair Made Easy series. The Flexi Rod set is one of my favorite hair styles to do.
Here are my 3 key tips for acheving the best results:⁣
1 • Start with CLAIRFYED - SHAMPOOED HAIR⁣
2 • Find the best 2 product combo - A leave in or curl cream + a GOOD HOLD foaming mousee.⁣
3 • Sit under a hooded dryer for atleast 1hr 30min and set the rest of the night to ensure the style is set & dry⁣

kaela i’ve been watching you since like 2018 when i went natural! you helped me soooooo much through my journey. i ended up cutting my hair and wearing it in finger waves or wigs now but i think i’m gonna grow it back out because watching your videos makes me miss my curls 🥺💕

Beautiful! 🥰 Tip! If you ever want to do the bang look you can pin them back and then let them fall forward if that makes sense. I have to do the same thing since my hair has grown out and is too long for bangs now. Every now and then I want the fro so I have to find ways to tweak and pin to get the shape because we all know once your hair grows out you loose the shape.

I'm watching, saving this to try until I master because I didn't the first time I tried just a couple days ago. It wasn't terrible but could be much better. My daughter's wedding day is next month and I want to wear this style.

Thst came out beautifully! I have a few questions I hope you can answer. 1. When wrapping the hair close together, are you slightly overwrapping the hair on top to help keep the hair smooth? 2. I keep hearin less product is more. Any advice on this? 3. Do you ever do a glexirod set on blown out hair and if so, would you use a heat protectant and which one? 4. When twisting at the root to avoid puffiness, did you start as a 2 strand twist? I was not clear on this visually? 5. How many times did you separate each curl? Thanks for making this video. I have a kinky coily texture and tried years ago but never had successful results but want to revisit? Tend to wear WnGs which I love!

My hair is getting so long/heavy and the ends are so dry. I'm hoping the flexi rods will make it look better than it has been. I think I have 2C to 3A hair 🤔 either way I have some high wave to curl and the length has just killed that. Love my length but miss the bounce! Yours was one of the best tutorials I've watched :) I'm gonna try to be mindful of my parts like you were. Thank you 😊 💓

I would say at least 4-6hrs after allowing them to dry completely if you plan on taking them down the same day. For the best results I suggest sitting under the dryer for 1-2hrs then allowing them to set through the night and take them down the next day. ❤️

How cute. Shirt roo. Girl so I big chop my hair to do microlocs for 6 months then took them out last week cause I missed the fro. Seriously I was missing the shake of a fro and how you can manage it. But honestly I been natural for 10yrs. The technique was cute and to the point. I be rolling when some sisters use many hair products like girl do you but too much for me. My hair was like short when I done my loc brief journey I do chops every other 6 months or a yr cause sometime I challenge myself. I have the alter ego of a widow spider I look good with short hair. But I love long thick hair just sometime I be like man it is heavy to manage long thick hair and sometime feel like a spider on your shoulder. I hatw when it was caught in my zipper on my dress or necklace.

Step 1:Have nice hair This is why I don’t do Flexi rod sets. It just comes out as a dry, poofy, natural mess no matter how much cream, moisture or butter I put in it. Putting the Wig back on✅😂
