Based my experience, I pull my joystick to diagonal. But it doesn't work for every player. U have to use some players with high stats on passing. Thus, u need a specific skill like low lofted pass.

Bruh you don't need to flick the joystick every time . When you just flick it one time ,it's enough, the player will be doing that ball drag back until you press the dash
