Thanks for sharing the information about multicodes. I have a project where I have to record 2 lines at the same point for example cable type and surface type when doing as built for electric cables. Is it possible to give different string numbers for each code in multicode?

Yes, in both Trimble Access 2024.00 and Civil 3D. You can put two “line” type codes on a point and both will be included in separate chains. Example the corner of an awning and the corner of a building fall in the exact same location, , code it “AW1 BLDG4” and it will draw the awning and connect to wherever the previous AW1 was measured and it will also do a building 4 line or polygon as well to the previous BLDG4

If you multicode a shot In measure points/topo, the “find” to find the next unused figure number for that code and “string plus and minus” to increment the figure number will only work for the first listed chain in the code area. But, if you use the measure codes multi code method; with the multi code 12th man off, find and +- works on both buttons!
