@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring well I still haven't played a single game yet. But rebuilding by boyhood toys as miniatures is a blast. And yes if they put out a box with castle grey skull. They can have all my money
For the mud monster, check out "The Power of the Evil Horde" comic, illustrated by Bruce Timm (if you search for the title, artist and Fright Zone, the image is in the top results). The model is a great likeness. It's a "rock monster" there, though.
Yeah, I have the big anthology of the mini comics and said in the video about the rock monster from the Fright Zone. I can’t figure out why they called it a mud monster though.
Leech is great…and I think the Mud Monster can be painted in a jiffy. Scorpia is actually a cooler model than I first thought. Looking forward to getting them (and the Evil Horde Wave 4) pack…
The art is pretty inconsistent across lots of the cards. What's up with the scorpion tail card? It's a really different style. Wasn't the Dragonfly Crossbow a snakemen weapon? Tung Lashor maybe?
Well remembered. It’s Lashor’s. I remember the stick handle that you had to thread between his fingers for him to hold it. The art is all over the place. Some of it is excellent… some not so much.
@@johnmiddleton4291 I think he was the only character I had who was part of the snakemen line and probably nearing the end of my interest. I did have Kobra Khan, but I believe he came out earlier.
It’s pretty bad. I generally really like what Archon are doing with this game but now and again they really drop the ball with a piece of art. There were a few shockers in the last wave too.
I hope they will make a documentary someday about there odd artwork choices. It is so weird, I really wanna know, what happened that day the person made that art 😄
The female characters have their place, my daughter likes all the others so it may help getting her to play. I honestly can’t remember the character. Lol Thanks for the review!
Evil Lynn and Teela are two of my favourite characters. But some of the female Evil Horde characters are ones I simply don’t care for or don’t even know, so it’s hard to get excited about them.
Scorpia is from the terrible She-Ra show (which was even worse than the He-Man one...). For me, non-existent. Not part of MoTU, and nobody will ever change that view. Guess, they had similar feelings and thought they need to pair her with a strong other character, to sell her...
