I always loved Mosquitor as a kid, and found a used complete Classics figure recently in great shape. I love this updated version!

Awesome! That was my favourite figure too and it's done superbly! I also like that he is beefy and prefer that to an insect-like build.

Also I wouldve liked to have seen a Alternate Head to show his Grotesqe Insect Face under the Helmet as I feel that was kinda of a hidden feature for 200x Statue & wouldve been cool to have it transfer to the Classics Version as Tribute as I think 4 Horseman really did an awesome job

Mosquitor was also one of my absolute favourites as a kid, him and Tung Lashor. My mom bought this to me brand new back in the haydays. But to think, I actually totally forgot this figure (amongst many others). And a couple of months ago, when I started to wonder where all my toys went. I got to realize that every action figure I've ever own was gone. My mother says she didnt throw it, and my dad says he didnt throw anything.... But I started researching and discovered that i still recognize them when i see them, and found Mosquitor on google. And got memory-bombarded with times I had with this toy. Now i have ordered (old) one from Ebay. Very nice :) Memories are all we have one day some says, got to take care of the memories.

I knew that coming here was going to make me almost cry in joy... Gald to see Pixel dan finally get his Mosquitor figure, and yes once again before you said it. I was wanting the blood tanks, and the Blood in the chest as well. Especially the blood in the chest. I wasn't exactly crazy about the extras on the back, but now that I've gotten down to this figure and posed him around, He's definatly my favorite figure of the other 4 that I just went through. He just looks so bad-ass....

The original Mosquitor is my second favorite (only behind Stinkor) of the original MotU baddies. He gets extra nostalgia points because as a kid I needed to have frequent blood tests and (I guess in a gallows humor style) I would take him along to be a little less scary.

I'm actually not collecting Masters of the Universe toys but giant mutant insects always brings me delight other MOU figures like skeletor and snakeface are also very interesting to me.

If I had to choose one thing to change it would be the head. I do prefer the 200x style head. For anatomical reasons. For instance, the head seems to small to support the eyes. I think the 200x head is ideal because it adjusted those proportions. Still, glad you got your fav!

Damn Happy for you Dan, I felt the same way when Mechaneck arrived. He is a very out there looking figure and I mean that in a good way. And I totally agree, this whole line has made me feel like a kid again.

And lastly I wish they woulda made the blood sucking stinger a harder plastic, but the first thing that I thought of was him running into a tree or a shield or something, You can make it bent up...... Good to see you having fun in this video Dan. I can officially, and knew it was going to be official that this video was going to become my favorite over topping the BK trip with King Randor and his sword Fries....lol

cool I know ol buzzy's wings are yellow but I was bold and got the one on Evilbay with the clear wings. I would imagine the clear wings would suit Mossy to a t after all he is a mosquito.

two-bad is coming soon I can almost feel it, But the reason we haven't gotten him is the same for mosquitor, rattlor, and Ram Man being last releases, It's all new tooling, and no re-use of parts. Two Bad will also be two heads. I hope they make tuvar and badra later after the main figure is released.... So I can work the spell of seperation....lol.

I have the figure here with me, The only way I see this thing working out is By putting a hole the size of the peg for the blood sucking tanks to fit inside the armor on the Classics figure. It's probably not hard to do, But I will have a plan to get another mosquitor figure first, Before I do this..... I'm still on this, slowly but surely. I will get this thing done one way or the other.. Also to note, the hose with the gun on the Neca figure isn't long enough to reach the Classic figures hand.

The one think I would like to change on Mosquitor & I would like your opinion Pixal Dan is the Legs (Not the Feet they are Perfect just the Legs) when looking at the 200x Statue they kinda have that robotic look close to how TrapJaw & ManatArms Legs with that Armor Cybernetic look I wouldve prefer they gave those Legs to Masquitor but other then that I admit he looks amazing I also think the Blood Packs wouldve been cool too but I think they wanted to add something to give him the Insect Feel

I have a few questions: 1. Is there any particular reason why Mosquitor is your favorite MOTU character? 2. If you would like to have blood pack accessories instead of the insect legs for Mosquitor, have you considered asking Kevin Kosse to make something for you? He seems to know his way around customs & then some.

Dear Dan, i am very glad that your uber-favourite member of the Horde has been unleashed on the unsuspecting public. Even more so because it made you so happy that you filmed this super cool clip that oozes with joy and childish mania, which is what toys should do as you have said. Where can i find the PIXEL DAN Masters Classic figure?Does it come with a Mosquitor mini figure as a standard accessorie?
