Since I was a kid I always wondered what is Adam Looking up at when he walks out of the shadow. Today I started wondering if Adam or Adora went inside a room to transform and it had a low ceiling. "BY THE POWER OF (thunk) I'm going to need a taller room."
That was good! if only the show was well written. The animation is always perfect with the team who did the castlevania anime so there’s never complaints there curse to that smith guy.
The new show is amazing. It's sad that you're clinging to this weird bias against it for no reason. "That Smith Guy" cut and polished a gem and you'd rather have a lump of coal.
Easy. It is not 80s motu, but the continuation of the flop from 2002. Story, Teela as daughter of sorceress, flying discs and gore. At motu nobody dies...
@@cajunbatman Yes tried both the original and the remake before the actual one. The 2002 show was better, but not so bad in some points like the new one. The original was not so cruel and could be watched by children (in the end nobody dies. The 2002 hinted Teela as sorceress daughter and most likely Fisto as father. Flopped in the end with a toy line mostly consisting of 100 different He-Mans and Skeletors. But had many elements which are in the Revelation series. Which i find really bad. It is a not needed. In the 2002 he was the prototype for He-Man. Why must Adam be younger then He-Man? A decision made in 2002. Before it was a bit like Superman - a change from Kent putting away his glasses. Why must King Grayskull change color? Why must Teeela look lesbian? It is a sort of modernisation which puts a lot of innosence away. We learned from every old series that he-man needed the sword. In some shows he looses it, has no ability to change. Now we have characters i a show burned to death, hit with a saw, seperated, killed, transformed in half machines, ... Again a great loose in innosence. There was violence in the old series, but no blood, no permanent damage. Seldom gray, easy good and evil. The problem is: if you claim to make it for old fans you should know old fans and not do jsut something where you put a lot of things in and mix them up, ignore a lot of stuff and so on. Then be true and just make a story a few hundred years later instead.
Aun que me CENSURE YUA TELOBE LA PRIMERA ENTRADADE HE MAN EN LOS 80 FUE CON EL ALMA Y EL CORAZON LA NUEVA SERIE ES COMO CUANDO TIENES GANAS O NI TENIENDO GANAS POR QUE CON ESTA ERA DIGITAL SERIA LA MEJORES SERIES QUE MUCHOS FANS ESPERABAMOS
Gary Greenwald bite our dust. You accused this iconic cartoon for "witchcraft and occultism". Shame on you old man! He-Man rules and is and always will be the Master of the Universe! 🤘👍✌🤟

The old filmation one is still better the only thing it needs is a continuetiy story arcs, fights scenes, modern animation/effects and if their target is the old fans to new maybe mature plots, like modern animes do
I'm a He man fan since a kid in the 80's for it's time that art was good, I like the new current art but man oh man has every he man after I saw on RU-vid only sound weak
A abertura nova tambem ficou muito boa; show . Eu assistia a versao antiga. Mas nao deixou a desejar a nova.So achei o Adam na versao nova meio estranho o seu corpo
While it's not the same voice for He-Man, I love that the animation is so close to the original. Obviously slightly more updated and making Adam look weaker. And of course, making Teela more of a warrior.
The animation was great. Character design not so great. The storyline sucked. It was horrid pandering instead of actually giving a shit about the characters and their story.
does anyone feel that He-man 2002 was definitely better than this new one ? Original one is a classic of course, but I love the adaption from 2002 version more !!
No it was not, He man looked like Conan more, his sword looked different and also his attire, colour, music score of 2002 was weak and forgetable and transformation sucked without any soul, he just screams holding that weird sword. However rest of the things were great compared to that time and it had lots of episodes.
I will go with your comment it's actually the 2002 series I fell in love with the He Man franchise. The plot, the characters the backstories and the episode connections till the end has so much depth in it. Although character appearance has an anime touch in it but Mike Young Production did a brilliant job
@@brownm.r1981 Conan is h- ot. He-man is h- ot. Sounds like a win-win. I'd watch the new one if that handsome hunk was in every episode, but he ain't, and so I won't.
@@brownm.r1981 thank you, I'm so tired of the "200X good Revelations bad" circlejerk. The artstyle is way too grimdark for MOTU and Adam is annoying as fuck, which is ironic given all the shit Teela gets for being annoying in Revelations
As an 80's kid that loved He-Man and owned very nearly every He-Man action figure, vehicle, and fortress I can and will say that Revelation is a better class of product than the original show. The original was needed in order for us to have Revelation now but the old show was pure cheese, limited in what it could do by the censorship of the day, forced Public Service Announcements to please the government overlords that had decided cartoons were evil. Revelation is much more free to be a complete show and that clearly intimidates some people who just want their campy 80's nostalgia to remain untouched.
