*Discord:* bit.ly/3ylw5KE | *Facebook Group:* bit.ly/38aY3On Let's go!! It's time to continue the showcase for Masters of the Universe: The Board Game Clash for Eternia designed by Leo Almeida, Michael Shinall with art by Jose David Lanza Cebrian, Henning Ludvigsen and published by CMON. In this video I'll give you an overview of the game, the win/loss conditions and we'll jump into solo gameplay against the AI Controller. Stay tuned to the channel as we continue to fight Skeletor and his minions! ⚔ *Masters of the Universe (GameFound :* gamefound.com/en/projects/cmon/masters-of-the-universe 🍿 Intro 0:00 🎥 Overview 0:22 ✅❎ Narrative & Win & Loss Conditions 1:32 🎲 How To Play 4:12 👏 Conclusion 45:47 7:30 - The movement cost marked on Terrain Cards is in addition to the normal cost of 1 to Move. 9:30 - After Dazing Orko I missed performing the 3 melee attack from the AI Strategy Activation card. 33:20 - All attack skills use an action by default. non-attack actions may or may not require the expenditure of an action as stated with the skill. Attack actions are written “[Skill Name]•[# of dice][attack type]”, and may or may not have a power cost before it. 34:15, 39:30 - A model can see into and out of a ruins terrain. Line of sight must go 'through' the entrance spaces. 38:55 - Mer-Man couldn't have 8 power as controller characters are limited to a max of 5 power. Making it tougher on myself ;) 28:59, 30:00 - Orko and He-man were short 1 power on newly unlocked green skill. You gain a power on the skill you acquire. 41:30 - When Orko splits his Attack between multiple targets, you split the dice before rolling. 44:00 - Tri-Klops should have respawned on the closest controller spawn token to a player character. Always worst case for heroes. 44:19 - Orko started his Activation with 3 and 2 (mentioned giving this on main card), I gained a power after the roll but forgot to spend one for the boulder I used. Balances out nicely as I missed giving Orko a power when he got his green skill. "When Eternia is threatened by Skeletor and his vile minions, the noble Prince Adam holds aloft the Sword of Power and proclaims, "By the Power of Grayskull, I have the power!", transforming into He-Man! Masters of the Universe: The Board Game - Clash for Eternia is a competitive one vs many or fully cooperative action-driven board game. Choose to play as the Heroic or Evil Warriors, use unique abilities on the battlefield, upgrade skills, and by the power of Grayskull, win the fight for Eternia! Players use dice rolling and character stats to move over a hex grid board and control Castle Greyskull." *Media Inquiries: rollingsologamer@gmail.com* *Want to support the channel? Thanks for watching! I’m happy they made the move to give the update pack as part of it. That shows love for the community behind the game. The way it should be as customers will come back for more in the future. Kudos to CMON for that.
I may have missed it, but I think you forgot to give a power to your new skills when the escalation went up. You automatically get one power for the new skill.
Omg THANK YOU for this! I have played this scenario a million times it seems and I love it every time but couldn’t beat it because I kept DRAWING THAT SECOND AI CARD 😩 I never thought to check the FAQs! Thanks again!
You wouldn't believe how many people fall into that boat. It's not your fault. It's a nasty print error that has a big time impact on the gameplay. The reprint campaign, as long as you pick up one item within will provide you with an update pack to address some things. Should be very helpful!
36:06 this card should be paid once upfront for each effect as soon as it is drawn. So if controller has 4 power, both effects will be activated and stay activated until the next AI strategy card. Therefore even if the controller does get additional power later they won't be able to use the effects if they weren't paid previously when the card first showed up.
Thanks for your comments in the new campaign asking for the errata pack. I am so glad they decided to provide corrected character cards at least. I remember the first few games being destroyed cause of giving the ai 2 actions due to that card. I gave up on that before they finally released the faq.
Two things: (1) 21:23 add 1 to AI Power due to Orko's spending a power to clear his Dazed condition. (2) 24:11 Question: Does Tri-Klops' "gains a success" cancel one of his misses (result would be 5 hits and one miss) or does he wind up with 5 hits and 2 misses (total of 7 results from 6 dice - you chose this option)?
Thanks for watching and the feedback! Hope you enjoyed it. 😄 Gaining a success in this case doesn’t have to do with the dice. Just add a success into the pile and it becomes a wound against the enemy if they can’t defend against it.
Rescue scenario is hard if the npc is in last (furthest) spot or last spot you check. If you can guess correctly by the second tokenthen you should secure victory.
Yeah. I don’t want to sound down on the game. I liked what it did game play wise I just expected full co op functionality. These expectations are more on me than on Cmon. If they offered up co op rules like something like Monolith did with Conan for instance I might go in on it
Which two enemies got in escape damage in He~Man on his first move here? I know the one he passed right by, but which of the other two nearby got in escape damage? The one inside the ruin?
The same enemy hit twice. You take a hit every time for every enemy when you move from a space adjacent to an enemy. Both spaces I moved I started adjacent to the same enemy.
Thought I’d check it out but yeah these type of games don’t really interest me. Moving characters around on a hex board to fight enemies plus an IP I don’t really care about Nah! I was a kid last time I saw an episode of this back in 1980’s.
