Love the challenge, I really agree with the mob density in goblin caves like it has more mobs then the trio maps? what is that about and one swing takes you to 20% health on most classes
it’s to learn the game. It’s supposed to be punishing. The goblins are so fuckin easy to dodge. If you don’t take the time to learn their attacks it’s your issue
@@lilbenttwig1524ding ding. These kids never seen a nightmare goblin charge them shield raised cause they never get to high roller. You want to improve, l2white run gobo. Let that punishment teach you. Its really not that hard.
Watching these hour long videos, getting to the end and realizing "Damn that was a whole hour!?" The entertainment factor really makes that time fly by wtf.
Seriously I paused after what felt like 20 mins and I was already 53 mins in and there was only 2 mins left, literally said "wtf" out loud I was floored lmao
9:40 Ironmace has clarified that their position on teaming is that doing things like queueing at the same time to get in the same match or making a hunger games esque clique in the waiting lobby to murder everyone was very not allowed. That being said they stated that happenstance teaming randomly while in the dungeon to kill someone that is super geared or asking for help and recieveing it is not at all what they are working against and is 100% allowed in the game. Why is that? cause the first one is unfun and not cool while the second one is super funny and cool and hot
No steam sniping i would consider before game teaming only to the sniper ban them from the game they are ruining rhe content and making the game not fun for the people trying to make the content get ur a literal pos if u do this jay dose not want u to ruin his games or fights by running in and healing him then attacking the other person
@@fart-b2k LOL ur joking right there is honestly really not to much more of a toxic thing u can do to a steamer then sniping them u quite literally ruin the content and makr them not want to play the game actual pos move yes should be bannable if someone dose something deliberately like the cleric healing jay and fighting the fighter he should just be banned just ban all of the people like that and people will stop being toxic garbage
@@brennanorr2 to be fair to the cleric, they might not have been a stream sniper and just healed the guy who looks less geared, I do that sometimes to spice it up.
New to dark and darker watching your videos get me through my work day and teach me tricks so I can rule the dungeon thanks for great content hope it keeps coming 🎉❤
People definitely use shadow runner, brad quackson uses it all the time because it activates with invis pots, meaning that you now have a speed boost potion for mid fight.
41:30 5 people are dead in the killfeed, which means it can ONLY be Pickpocket Perry(the only other person who hasn't died). He just has to recognize the name, in order to KNOW that it's Jay who's running over.
btw jay you don't actually have to look up when doing the throw trick... you can literally just hold it down lol xD I went to tell Aikira and he told me its just placebo he used to crouch twice haha
Yes rogues get the better attack speed and burst with rupture/ambush. I've tried slayer fighter with a Stilletto and Viking Sword before. It's bonkerz, you get the full physical power with the strength of fighter, +5 damage of the slayer perk, the dual wield attack speed helps make up for lower agility, and only sacrifice 2 damage from the weapon mastery. Crazy DPS, and the Stiletto combo is so fast it's all burst.
I saw a full lobster set go to the swarm. Dude was full health nobody chasing him me and one other i thought was left i killed him. Then i spectated this lobster dying. The dude i killed invited me to party juat to laugh it up cuz he saw it too. Fun times.
I main gc, so I personally don't even realize it has a mob density problem until I play with friends on crypts or ruins. The hr gc map they added to norms gc has the same density as if you were playing hr I'm pretty sure.
If a shield counted as a weapon you would get slayer bonus with it. Also it would be able to roll weapon damage, this is why I always say that if you take shield bash you should get the slayer perk equipping a shield xD
agreed, slayer could use some underlying changes to things to make it more dynamic or overall a broader class to use. I wish slayers could dual wield a normal torch an sword without a lantern but make other classes need lanterns an only lanterns have stat bonuses torch gives you nothing but the duel wield
@@hsqqq I think I started playing on PT4? It was the playtest before ruins an double jump. I didnt know you used to be able to do that though, would be nice if the brought that back
A shield isn't a weapon by definition. The term weapon is more like an attribute that can be applied to an object temporarily acting as a weapon, you wouldn't call a chair a weapon, but it can be used as one. A shield becomes a weapon for the brief moment it is used to apply damage, then it becomes a shield again, meaning that the slayer perk would only be applied during shield bash, which is useless.
Jay, for next time, when you lose a good set and just drop it... you could lead someone over to the set, have them pick it up. Then if you kill them, you can put the set back on.
Yo jay I’ve started making videos for dark but I don’t know how to grow… I’ve spent so long learning the ins and outs of editing and photoshop but all of that learning and my videos get 30 views I can’t promote them so how do I get started?
It's literally 90 percent luck to catch on. Jay was super smart and got in on thr ground floor during playtests, and he's also extremely good at the game as well
Just so any of you know that guy that teamed with jay isnt against the rules they said in the dark and darker discord that theyvjust didnt want premades going in solo and teaming that way and that people took their no teaming too seriously
i realized it was repoze in 2 sentences but i thought it was a bot, i started telling him hes fake and when he reacted i lost it... u can easily tell from one sentence o7
He railroaded himself into picking up the cheric's heater shield. Chat literally spammed WEAPONS ONLY at him, and said don't do it. I think he just did it for content.
I asked chatgpt if a shield was a weapon, I hope you find the answer as interesting as I did: Chatgpt: That is an interesting question. A shield is technically not a weapon, but it can be used as one in certain situations. Let me explain. A weapon is defined as an object that is designed or used to inflict harm or damage to another being or thing. A shield, on the other hand, is a piece of personal armour that is held in the hand or strapped to the arm, which is used to intercept attacks or provide passive protection. A shield is not designed or intended to cause harm or damage, but to prevent or reduce it. Therefore, a shield is not a weapon by definition. However, a shield can be used as an improvised weapon in some circumstances. An improvised weapon is an object that is not a weapon, but can be used as one in a pinch. For example, a chair, a bottle, a frying pan, or a rock can be used as improvised weapons. A shield can also be used as an improvised weapon, by bashing, throwing, or slamming it against an opponent. However, using a shield as an improvised weapon has some drawbacks, such as: - It may not be very effective or accurate, as it is not designed for that purpose. - It may require more strength or skill to wield it as a weapon than as a defence. - It may compromise the shield's primary function of providing protection, as it may expose the user to attacks or damage the shield itself. - It may have legal or ethical implications, as it may be seen as an aggressive or unlawful act. Therefore, using a shield as an improvised weapon is not a common or recommended practice, unless there is no other option or there is a specific advantage to do so. For example, some historical or fictional warriors may have used shields as weapons to surprise, intimidate, or overpower their enemies, or to perform special manoeuvres or feats. In summary, a shield is not a weapon, but it can be used as an improvised weapon in some situations. However, this is not a usual or optimal way of using a shield, as it may have negative consequences for the user or the shield. I hope this answers your question. (4) undefined. www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/equipment. Me: So it's more like the term weapon is an attribute that is temporarily applied to an object that isn't conventionally a weapon, rather than as a description that applies to it permanently? Chatgpt: Yes, that is a good way of putting it. A weapon is an attribute that is temporarily applied to an object that is not conventionally a weapon, rather than a description that applies to it permanently. A weapon is not a fixed or inherent property of an object, but a relative or contextual one. An object can be a weapon or not a weapon depending on how it is used, by whom, and for what purpose. A shield is an example of an object that is not a weapon by definition, but can be used as one in some situations. However, this does not change the essence or nature of the shield, which is still a piece of personal armour that is designed or intended to provide protection. I hope this makes sense. pretty sure it has one, it's just incredibly useless when you can see the map and kill feed and you can see people pre lobby to confirm if its the streamer. All people have to do is check the pregame lobby, if he's not there, you quit, that's why you see stream snipers only really running default kits.
No they should also 100% ban people like this they ruin the game for people like jay who want to be able to just play the game and make content without some pos ruining his gameplay
@@brennanorr2 If it's a random encounter, there's no reason to ban someone, since it was an organic but infrequent occurrence. Streamers don't get special perks, meaning that his content being ruined is irrelevant. I would also say that it makes the content more interesting, I enjoyed this encounter, didn't you?
@@cagxplays9602 no this person is a jerk they ruined the content he would of probably died and that would of been fine because it was organic and why would i not play the game the people ruining the game should just not play..
