Imagine this, you are watching mastodon in 2003, they still playing their “angrier/grincore-ish” set, and at the same time in their heads are rounding the songs in Leviathan (2004), a total different approach to music. Awesome.
They’ve played it every night on their tour with gojira going on now. It’s been awesome and they’ve sounded amazing, played mother puncher every show as well, usually play those 2 back to back
