The making of Emperor really portrays their friendship and the way music connects them. I get really emotional when they talk about Bill`s mom passing, and how he just wanted to jam with them because they are his friends and wanted to share that moment with them. I love that idea of a band.

Went with two friends that told me were making some songs..I thought it was something just to have fun, but a few days ago they shown me their first four songs and I freaked out. I like that they released it. I feel like if a band is going through whatever it is that makes them think and EP is a better fit for them than an LP, then go for the EP. I think Tool really fucked up by waiting 12 years between albums. That's unecessary. Release 4 songs 5 years in, and everyone would have been thrilled, and also have been saying "Damn this is sick, wish there were more songs!" But gain, the alternative is zero songs. Love this band.
