I think there is still too much people thinking that witchcraft and psychic abilities are something that you have in your DNA like the colour of your eyes and can't learn... that is completely false! Witchcraft is a Craft, and you can learn it from other practicioners, but this mindset is so disappointing for people who like to think that they are so special because they are, you know, "magic". Instead, if we can still learn from books, even when you are an old witch as I am, because magic is always changing and new writers and teachers can give new perspectives to all of us. I am actually reading your Psychic Witch book, and finding a lot of interesting things, I have been able to better understand my experience and practice thanks to your words, and to many new authors that I have read lately. Thank you so much for your work, Mat! Kudos for the Fairuza Balk picture on the wall! Love it!
Agreed.. ego is the only thing that would prevent you from seeking knowledge in books. Each one teach one... The learning never ends and that is such a beautiful thing to think about!

I love this! I’m all about studying everything you can... Take from it what works for and speaks to you and letting the rest go. As witches we don’t have to be dogmatic... After all, Dogma is the exact reason many of us turned to the Craft in the first place! LOL I just received your book today and I’m excited to dive in!
Hi Mat. Great video! I love your Psychic Witch book!! I have an audio copy AND a hard copy. I really want to do a deep dive with it. I began studying over two decades ago. But, my magick has been hit or miss. Also, I’ve been admittedly lazy at times and have studied other traditions and religions over that time. The times I’ve hit my goals with my magick have been wonderful. I’d just really like to be that witch I’ve always known that I am. I know that I can be with your help from this book. I may document my studies and the exercises on my channel. It would be a great way to hold myself accountable and possibly, help others as well. Which would be fantastic. I hope to meet you one day. Without reading books on that theme of magic and witchcraft, I would have known nearly nothing. Just dont forget to do your homework and practice the ideas read. If you study a profession today everybody learns the Theory from books before ir paralel to the practise. You would not be alliwed to do any surgery for example if you have no idea of zhe theory. In witchcraft and magic it is similar. To close youself from knowledge is just
The ideas of other people are never as powerful in our Magick as our own Higher-Self. Books are fantastic, but are not in any way necessary for successful magick.
