Mat is such an inspiration to me. Mat if you’re reading this, I have a question about Drown: What do you hear in your monitors that lets you know to start the song on time? Thanks

Great question! I reckon the whole band would hear a count in through their in early monitors 😊 gathering by what he was saying about click being in every song. Click is king!! Thanks for watching

@@Dankerby Thanks for the reply, Dan! I’m curious what the count in is. Is it something such as a voice saying “3,2,1 go”? Or do you think there’s an agreement, such as “when the click starts, we go on the fourth click.” ? Thanks!

@@hookups300 the whole band will hear a click track. Most likely 4 counts. They may have a voice saying 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 also. Then for that particular song they would all come in on the 1 :) most bands use click live now.

@@Dankerby Adding to this, they may even have some recorded vocal notes before the click comes in. "Drown starts in 4 bars" or something. We do that in Silver Fang :)
