Few tips Always put garam masala very less at the end of cooking gravy items and u can add it in marinating. Kashmiri chilly powder only for colour. Shahi dishes are always little sweet mostly with little cashewnut paste. Cumin seeds are mostly common to add in every indian dish. Ginger garlic paste must be always added in oil after onions half done. Try to add salt right after u add tomatoes. It helps to cook fast. Many more things but only these makes you perfect indian 5 star chef. South indian food....coconut oil. Bengali food.....mustard oil. North indian food....mustard oil and in Punjabi food mostly ghee. Western India...refined sunflower or groundnut oil. Eastern India...bengali, bihari food mustard oil. North east....mostly steamed..any oil.

I'm my house ...we also add 7-8 pieces of cashew nuts in grinder along with onion and tomatoes..it really enhances the tastes And sis add oil then add garlic onion paste ..let it release its oil...and become golden ...then add paste .. similarly cook until it releases oil.....and baaki to aap ne professionally cook kiya hai sara .....specially chappati

Great to see you with your mom. Mayo oil plays an important role in indian cooking. Northern part of india mostly uses Mustard oil. In central India mostly groundnut oil or sunflower seed oil is used. Where as coconut oil is used in southern india. So if you don't have mustard oil then groundnut/sunflower seed oils can be used but not coconut oil. You can cook most of the things in ghee also. Take care.

Mayo Rice cooker can be interchangeably used for pressure cooker for most dishes. However using a pot/pan is also fine. Also Kashmiri chilli powder isn't hot as such, it's mostly used for colour. However it's better to be safer. Also quick tip, if some spices get too strong, you can add a little water and cook it a little more. It dilutes the spiciness and tastes better than absolutely thick gravies. And this video is super Hiarious and Adorable. Your Mom is extremely gorgeous and cute just like you. Loved the video.
