This is news to me I'm from Whakatane I'm disgusted to hear this. I remember seeing the black drain often. Shame on the money makers. My Dad worked at the Board mills Whk in the semichem had a major injury and of course in the end died of cancer. Eastern Bay of plenty deviation for greed. Not to mention irreversible damage to the land of Paradise "Not our future"
