A continuation of the previous episode I uploaded. Everyone's still making fun of Allen for his rotten answer on yesterday's episode, but he gives an answer just as bad near the end!
"Tipster" "President Arthur" Allen Ludden, Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly, Joyce Bulifant, Richard Dawson, Fannie Flagg

Good ole Richard: "That's also how I got out of the army". Funny Euell Gibbons question.

I didn't think president Arthur was that bad of an answer, because there actually was a president Arthur even if he is forgotten but "Tipster" had me laughing so much I was crying

They keep making fun of Allen, but there WAS a President Arthur, Chester Arthur.

Man, that elephant question was ridiculously easy. I felt bad for the guy; the game was over before it even began for him.

I wasn't alive during the 70s but I feel like I was because I'm laughing to these jokes. But Tipster would make anyone laugh if they had a sense of humor. God I have tears in my eyes!

That contestant Lori (17:30) was a stone cold fox. And I love that awesome green/blue eyeshadow with the red dress...so 70's.

This episode is dated Pre-RQ...."Pre-Racy Questions"

I believe Masquerade Party was Dawson's first hosting gig and NOT Family Feud(2 years later).

I believe the BLACK EYE thing was in bad taste. Not back then, I'm sure someone thought it was ironically funny. But, bad taste. And, the contestant avoided it on purpose because he knew it was wrong for them to do that. It was too obvious. And, I'm an old white guy, fyi.

Back in that time we didn't have the P/C bunch jumping up and down like a bunch of goofballs. Of course they did have a set of censors that really where an anal retentive bunch. He did kinda screw himself up when he said it seemed to be the obvious answer. Always go with your first gut reaction. If it seems obvious? Examine the situation and run with it. (meaning...it's a game show with people filling out cards. If it seems like the obvious choice? The go with it.)
