The Shots got their season underway with a 3-3 draw against Forest Green Rovers.
Hady Ghandour scored twice to give the Shots a 2-0 lead after just 13 minutes but the visitors turned the game around to lead 2-3 before James Henry scored on his Shots debut to ensure the game finished level.

Forest Green fan here. Firstly, your home support was outstanding, nothing beats the smell of a national league flare and the shots chants ringing out. Draw was a fair result, we both had spells of dominance. Good luck this year 👏🏼

Think we (atfc) has a strong side this year. The bench was very strong today and some players that are injured at the moment will be pushing for a start as well. James Henry is class and too good for this standard but happy days!
