This game was intense given they look like 2 teams trying to win MLS cup even with NYCFC and Miami not qualify for their playoffs. This has got to be one of the most fastest, quickest games I ever watched in MLS and felt more the pace was from England or Germany than MLS. NYCFC was great in counter-attack, had a more solid backline than Miami and knew how to exploit the space very well despite them being at a bigger disadvantage because of Miami home field avantage, despite Miami having 3 World Cup Winners, despite them having a world class coach with trophies in FC Barcelona and Altanta United and Miami and yet NYCFC a team with no superstars a team with no world class coach or a ballon d or winner yet they still won shows me at least that you don't need world class superstars to win like in the case with FC Cincinnati or St Louis City SC whom many people have so much respect for.

My respect and love for Messi has greatly reduced ever since he was corruptly awarded the Ballon D'or instead of Haaland. I now believe certain authorities have been collaborating with Messi to manipulate the beautiful game in Messi's favour. Ronaldo is truly greater than Messi now, and I appreciate Ronaldo's integrity. Messi seems to lack integrity.
I think they need an entire rebranding. New colors (the pink is horrible), new stadium, new defense, new everything. Then they will be ready to win some games. Fun fact: I heard that the color pink can actually lower someone’s testosterone if they are surrounded by it. I’ve even heard in some college stadiums, they have painted the visitor locker rooms completely pink to try to exploit this.
