I love how the dogs seem to instantly be comfortable with the long-haired guy who takes care of doggos, especially the super anxious sage. It's like they know
I work at a dog daycare and can confirm he did amazing with what he was given, ideally the hand off is not the best way to introduce a dog to a new person
The majority of them absolutely do know. Dogs are incredible! I had the sweetest black lab growing up. My dad's cousin had adopted this teenager that was extremely troubled, like serial killer vibes for real. He was violent and just downright evil and it wasn't even like he had medical issues it was literally just a personality thing. Well, he came over for a family picnic one time and my dog would not let him in the yard she was growling and barking at him, she NEVER did anything like it before.she basically was making him back up. He tried to kick her & my dad almost killed him! Sorry for the novel lol ! I just felt like it was the perfect story to share alongside your comment . It would have been confusing without so many details. But here I am making the comment longer .I'm so sorry I'm so annoying 🤦♀️
@@What.The.Chell_lol They DEFINITELY know! My dog didn't like one of my boyfriends, and it turns out he was a shitty person. Absolutely loved my now husband. 🥰 Whatever happened with the adopted kid? 👀 Did he turn his life around or is he still violent?
In the animal world where you can’t really communicate with each other picking up on body language and energy is very important. Dogs and other animals are really smart and sensitive to that kind of stuff
When you don’t have words or anything else to focus on, body language becomes very apparent. Ever heard of blind people having almost-supernatural hearing? Dogs communicate mostly through body language
I’m more shocked at the fact that their dog didn’t go straight up to them, when my dog sees me it’s like instant excitement and she lays right under my legs😂
Right? My dog would've given me away instantly. During training when we did recall, he was freaking out when held back from me and immediately jetted towards me when let go.
@@ariel9785she's definitely a shepherd mix of sorts, based on the snout and coloration. her tail makes me think she's mixed with a doberman pinscher or sighthound (greyhound, whippet etc.)
@@emiliecassar1481thank you I literally met one today and asked the owner his breed but the name went in one ear out the other. Never seen that type of dog before and he was great with my daughter w/ ASD ❤
My Pets are also just... given. Never planned, never chosen, just someone brings one and it's family now. My sister was like "hey, our cousin's dog had puppies. I'm giving you one." 2 days later, shablam! 4 legged introvert in my bed.
@@lonelyronin2428 I was embarrassingly old before I realized that that wasn't how people normally got pets. I had four cats and two dogs this way, so to me it was just like how it happens lol
I really loved watching the dog trainer. It's to be expected from his profession, but he knew exactly how interact with the individual dogs and they all seemed very calm and content with him. That's how I know he's a good person. Because all the dogs liked him.
Obsessed with the fact that the dog guy got all of them right, by the end… it’s giving “tell me you’re good at your job without telling me you’re good at your job”
Not that they’re misunderstood more so mislabeled. 90% of “pitbulls” are bully mutts not real pitbulls. All the bull breed like staffys, bully’s, am bulldogs etc get categorized into “pitbulls” but their is only one pitbull the American pitbull Terrier that Is it’s own breed. Unless you got your “pit” from an ethical pitbull breeder, it is a mutt.
No they aren’t. They have a predisposition to be more aggressive. Most ppl have no business owning a pitbull, and I definitely do not suggest for anyone with young children or elderly living with them. They can be good dogs, but they aren’t “misunderstood” . Ppl need to have respect for animals as animals. They can be dangerous and unpredictable!
"loves kisses"..."that's all I needed to hear" hands Pitbull over. I love it. Pits are one of the most affectionate breeds of dog, big babies. I wish more people knew that. One of my favorite breeds for sure!
Same! They only want love and affection! My parent’s pittie does everything he can to get your attention to be pet. He can be really excited but mellows when you pet him or snuggle with him, he will just sit there contentedly. He is the type that loves face pets for some reason.
@@IllumInator-sv3tl Yes! They are very easy to train to be aggressive tho because they are a bit overprotective when they need to be but unless you raise them to be violently protective they can still protect in a kind and gentle way using their size and big head to look more intimidating. They have the biggest hearts and soo much love to give if you treat them right and love them back just as much as they love you!
I have a feeling she's never owned fish lol. I feel like she only said that to say she didn't want a hairy animal or something that would be lots of responsibility to take care of, like a dog. Like, "If I had to choose a pet it would be a fish" type of thing.
I appreciate that the lady who didn't like dogs still treated them nicely. I've seen people in these videos make some not-so-nice comments or cringe away from animals they don't like. She might not have wanted to pet them, but she still showed respect for both the animals and the humans who love them so much.
As a fellow dachshund owner INSTANTLY knew it was her dog you can sense not only the dog wants her but she’s eyeing him like she wants the dog too lol (intense attachment for both partiessss) and $1200 … best 1200 I spent
That has to be some sort of mental disorder. Who wants to be around some loud and possibly aggressive animal such as a pitbull. It's literally the only dog on the panel that cannot behave
The story of the French Bulldog reminds me of my cat. I fell in love with him when I saw his picture online. What I didn’t know at the time was he was feral. The people taking care of him kept offering the other kittens to me, but I stood my ground. They went through with the adoption. He’s the sweetest thing and is very friendly, although he is scared at first when meeting new people. He does well with other animals too!
Love how the video highlights the complexity of pet-owner relationships and breaks stereotypes, especially around pit bulls. Both entertaining and educational. Can't wait to check out your game at Target!
@Phisherman10 for all recorded dog fatalities in the untied states, more were from mixed breeds, as in so mixed with other breeds could not clarify 1 specific breed so a true mutt, then pitbulls. 12 pitbulls to 30 mutts. These were also prominently pack - on average 4 dogs or more. 1 husky was reported in a death of a newborn, 4 German Shepards, 5 great Danes, 5 English bulldogs, to Labradors, and a handful of other breeds. Should also put in as well that pitbulls are one of the most highest found breeds in America, so rules of statistics that woukd make it already a higher chance anyways of an attack just purely how many their are. If the breed was not as common then those numbers would naturally be lower. There are also plenty of other factors not taken into consideration with this stereotype.
i have a deaf french bulldog named chase, hes like 14 years old and an amazing dog, a little playful sometimes, but very friendly and chill, all black and very sweet, the other one reminded me of him and made me love both dogs even more.
the fact that you could hear the french bulldog panting throughout the whole video made me sad. can't believe people still promote brachycephalic dog breeding..
Yeah it says they don’t like dogs might just prefer cats or maybe they were mauled by a dog. That’s really all it means, not liking dogs isn’t a character flaw.
@@spaghettispoonHer attitude at the beginning of the video tho said allot about her character I’m sure. I do believe that how someone feels about dogs/animals says allot about them.
tbh, I grew up being very defensive around dogs/scared of dogs, because my mother is deadly terrified of them and kids just pick up on that kind of thing. It took years of spending chill time around my friends' dogs to get more comfortable with them, and even though I'd like to think I'm good with dogs now, there are still sometimes moments when they do something unexpected and I just instinctively curl back in fear. I'd love to be a proper dog person but it just doesn't come naturally to everyone, it's not a voluntary thing :(
Let’s not project values onto people that you literally have only known from one 12 min edited video. And not necessarily, and this is coming from someone who is the biggest dog/cat lover. My mom was attacked by dogs as a child, so my mom has severe PTSD when it comes to dogs. We all process trauma differently. She still allowed me to have pets growing up because she loves me, but she just isn’t a dog/pet person. There are also people who are allergic to dogs, who may not like them because of that.
@@corgiw7281 A lot of people have trauma with dogs and its valid. And its good you will avoid them because they probably don't want to be around dogs either.
@@gothiwi she wasn’t being rude about anything. she simply doesn’t like dogs, and not everyone should be expected to. tbh not sure why she did this video but she had her own boundaries with the dogs to make sure she was comfortable but also so that the dogs could just do their own thing. as long as you aren’t harming to dog.
I most definitely a cat person but one day I went to petco and I ran into a 7 year old husky who no one would adopt because of his age. I asked how much they they said he’s free so I brought him home within 30 min. My first doggie and already owning 3 cats. Still the best quick decision I’ve ever made and he loves his older cat brother. The only way you could tell my husky is me would be literally we have identical personalities 😂❤
The staff Pit Bull was adorable, I think his name was KitKat by the bone tag but couldn’t tell. I have a Staff Put Bull myself and they are the most sweetest and loyal dogs a person could get. I love my dog so much.
I’m convinced that bully breeds are equivalent to that one little cousin at family parties that’s like ‘you, you, you got gameths on your phone?’ 😂 They have the social awareness of a shoe 😂
@@jcfretz OMFG MINE JUST GOT WORSE 😂 we just got home and my bully boy peed on a Pomeranian named Pepper 😂 He cried the entire interaction and then peed on her, thankfully pepper and her owner where experienced staffy lovers so she could laugh it off for me, but I’m completely mortified 😂 Mr Dude, how we meant to make friends IF YOU PEE ON THEM!?
I would just like to say, yes we stan the dog trainer for being so warm and welcoming to the doggies! But the woman who doesn’t love dogs is valid too. I know it feels backwards to not love dogs since most people do, but I think it’s okay to not vibe with a certain type of animal!
Hearing these prices y'all adopt don't shop! I adopted my puppy from a prison and she came potty trained, knew basic commands, spayed and vaccinated for $150
I got mine when she was about one, same story for me. My best friend got a purebred golden retriever puppy and the stories I heard from her trying to manage him 😅 I love dogs but I'm glad I won't ever have to worry about dealing with puppies lol
Sage is so gorgeous, I have the same exact breed they are the best dogs to own not a lot of people own them they are called black mouth curr they are one of the breeds that have the highest population in animal shelters because people breed then and cannot keep up with their lifestyle. If you ever go to the shelter and see one like her please give them a chance they will love you endlessly!
