@@TroubleToby3040Rhett is more analytical and link is more emotional. Their comedy act is one of chaos and order, the goof and the straight man. That's why their back and forth works so well, both of them are very smart. Just because link lets loose and lacks self awareness (which he used to have on this show btw) doesn't make him a fool. He's just really embraced and fulfilled his role as a comedy act next to Rhett and as an entertainer. It takes more than a fool to achieve even 10% of what these guys have.

Not surprised that Link knew the vanilla, being the vanilla ice cream man as he repeatedly stated, but the fact that Rhett didn't definitely surprised. However, the saddest thing was that Link saying he knows something for a fact is not good enough, but requires a reasoning, but when Rhett states something it's often just taken at face value. If he at least had a truly compelling counterargument it would've made sense, but he didn't. So yeah, Rhett, please apologize for not believing in Link. Especially since this was a more and you guys were working together just for the heck of it, could've just went with it regardless.

@@esmelevine That is true, and I absolutely don't think any feelings were truly hurt or any ill intent present. Yet, none of them are perfect and are absolutely capable of making mistakes and going too far. Having done the show as much as they have, its bound to happen on occasion. And personally, with many people agreeing based on the comments, this was one of those moments when it was truly painful / frustrating to watch the situation escalate too far. Doesn't make it serious, but I also don't believe a mistake needs to be super serious in order to acknowledge its existence.

I feel like if Rhett really knows something, Link will default to him. And usually if the other has a strong opinion on something and the other one doesnt, they'll default to the other like in tasting and stuff. 6:44 for Rhett: Mexican vanilla is usually fake. My 2nd stepmother was the Head Dietician, at the Coronado Hospital, and she swore by Mexican vanilla. She used to make trips to Tijuana, specifically to buy vanilla, but it is not pure, real vanilla. It is usually “vanillin,” which is made of the aromatic compounds, but not the fruit/pods themselves. 8:14 Link has never been so absolutely correct, and Rhett so far afield, we cannot see him. Wow.

I have never screamed at Rhett so much that Link was 100% right about that sweet Madagascar vanilla. I know Link's wrong a lot but he was so passionate that it was Madagascar, Rhett should have just let him have it it was the only one he cared about!

I have never screamed so loudly during a More. My cousin makes homemade vanilla and one year she couldn’t because the Madagascar vanilla beans were too expensive so she made Tahitian Vanilla instead and it was just not as good. Rhett in know it all mode when I knew he was 100% wrong was something else omg

The reason that Madagascar vanilla is so expensive is because it requires human pollination. In Mexico, the bees are able to do it but in Madagascar, it is up to the humans to put in the extra effort to grow.
