Hello. I would love to see a video (or more than one) in which you explore not only the vast meaning of this practice but also make it accessible for westerners. For example, I would like you to adress questions like: what is the core meaning of the ceremony that cannot be altered when adopting into european ground, what elements have to be there and which ones can be dropped/altered in western way, what tools and items are essential and what materials/fabrics should they be made of (and again, if there is any possibility for replacing them with western items and materials when somebody has limited access to traditional japanese ones) etc. So in short: how can I enjoy the tradition and adapt it to my european way od living without deviating too much from its essential points. i really miss my teapot. I'm british, it was whole leaf tea and teapots when i grew up, but quickly changed to teabags. My dad put it in the loft (roof space)with lots of other things in plastic crates. The loft is too unsafe to go up into, and nobody goes (no floor etc)

Thank you so much for your videos. i watched all of them. its really inspirational and motivational for me. from yesterday i started my 30 day challenge of do not buy anything except food or chemical stuff for home and hygiene. i throw it away all sauces in fridge, snacks which contains sugar and coffee with sweet creamer.

I have been drinking matcha everyday for the last 24 days. I feel great. Even though I am tired in the afternoon, I feel energized. I like to put oat milk in my tea. Thank you for sharing this.

I kinda wished you uploaded this without the music because the river alone sound soo peaceful :) Still love the video tho :) My first trip ever to Japan was scheduled two years ago right at the start of the pandemic. Sadly the trip was cancelled due the pandemic. Since then I started to learn more and more about Japan and I'm now learning the language (very tough but also very fun!) When Japan opens up I hope to finally see all the wonders it holds. And if I spot you beside a river I hope to drink a cup with you.

Thank you for sharing the noble artwork of tea ceremony 🙏. In my home country ( Germany ) Matcha is popular too. But most of us don't do it in the elegant way like you. Some people (like me) prepare Matcha in a mixer/ blender/shaker tool. I think I should learn the traditional way of tea because that looks really great.

How do you know how much water to use? I currently use a scale to use the same amount each time. Is it personal preference or do you use a certain amount of water from the spoon/ladle?

I’ve been vegan for about two years. I’m now the most vibrant and healthiest that I’ve ever been, and I have no intentions of going back. Making sure you eat enough calories is super important to feeling satisfied, and for overall health. This is where many people go wrong. Animal products are more calorically dense than plant foods and have no fiber, so you have to eat a lot more food on a plant based diet to get the same amount of calories because of the water and fiber content. Which is actually great because who doesn’t love eating more food?ʕ •́؈•̀ ₎ For more information and to completely change your perspective on food, I recommend you watch the documentary “What The Health.” It’s on Netflix US, but if you can’t find it I think you can rent it or get it for free with ads on RU-vid.
