I used to make a lot of airfix models and the one thing I used to hate about making those were the decals. So seeing you put on all those decals gave me flashbacks! Great work as always bro. The restored car is beyond what the original would have been out of the box!
The road going version of the RS200 was severely de-tuned to 350bhp the blocks are good for 900+ A chip and map will yield 750+ (there are a couple on UK roads with 700+) the car weighs less than a metric ton and SMOKES SUPERBIKES! 0-100mph in 5 seconds!!! Suits you sir!
looks great again, love the reversed colours and the wheels. :) once these old diecasts are given a detailing they suddenly look up par with nowadays' toys with all these printed-on details and stuff... the museum of Ford of Germany has a street-legal RS200 they let run every now and then. a journalist from that classic car magazine I am reading test-drove it, and it is indeed, a beast! :D
I recently was at a cousins house and he was showing me his old matchbox cars his son plays with and this car was there. What are the odds. Looked about as good as this one did before your magic too.
Fantastic job. You are on a level with a few I consider the best at this hobby. Always enjoy your videos. I do go back quite a bit to review your builds. Thanks for sharing.
i watched few your videos about 2 years ago and yeah they were just disasters.... but now you can make pretty decfent ones ... that is pretty huge progress... keep going
As always you’ve done a great job with that beautiful model and as always keep up your great work and stay safe and well and have a happy new year. Thanks for an excellent job well done.
Looks great, the RS200 is still my favourite of the Group B era. Not sure why but I've just loved the way it looks. Sidenote: Personally I would've also painted the hood vent in as Black when you did the detail painting on the front and back. Doesn't detract much from the overall car but it's some extra flavour.
Superb job Danny and this blue on white livery was exactly the version I remember back in the day. I seem to remember it was called the RS200 as Ford had to make and sell 200 for it to qualify. Look forward to your next one ✨🥇🤩
I like how you reversed the color scheme and created all new decals. Very nice! Hydrogen peroxide + ultraviolet will do wonders for yellowed plastic - haven't seen it done too much on diecast channels, but done fairly often for larger restorations, like Tonkas.
Hi Danny, Happy New Year! Thank you very much for another excellent restoration/video. It force me to try to find dome cheap source car on internet again, after a couple of months without such urge. The only thing which pulls me back are decals. Would it be possible to buy your set of decals out of patreon members, please? Thank you very much. My best wishes!
Please, can someone tell me what is the music playing at 6:50. Been asking quite a few channels but no luck with a response. Also, very nice custom resto
