Another Matchbox Lesney model restored to near new condition.
This model is a Snow Trac tractor first produced in 1964. There were three versions of this model released at various times. The early models had 'Snow Trac' cast into the sides above the tracks; later versions had stickers of various sizes and some models were released without any stickers at all. It came out in two different colours being Maroon and Red. The red ones are generally worth less money to a collector. Used by the military and emergency services around the world, it was an unusual choice of model for matchbox to undertake. A break from their mainstream style of common vehicles seen on the roads in Britain during the 50's and 60's.
