This was my favorite Matchbox car as a kid. It had lost all of its stickers, but it still was part of every adventures :) I even have one mint on card as I have so many great memories of that little car.

This one is super star from that time period. One of the cars MOST of my friends also had.

That turned out even better than I pictured at the beginning of the video. Great casting and stance.

Enjoyed Rob's makeover and subsequently watched yours. To me both makeovers are great! It's so cool to see the two versions of the Pantera. Congratulations!

I remember back in high school my father was working at a Lincoln Mercury dealership and they had one of these in the showroom. It was '72 or '73 and I had a chance to sit inside for a minute or two. Coolest thing ever for a teenage kid.

Aw damn this is a very clean restore, the extra little touches put it over the top though I have to say. Dig the two tone paint, that blue is sweet and the rims compliment the car nicely.

Yours showed-up first so I haven't seen Rob's one yet. You did a great job on this one Danny; one of these times when you turn a toy into a model and it looks fantastic, great paint, great wheels and the detail painting sets it off beautifully.👍👌😁 One thing I thought about: what would happen if you took a razor-knife down the decal at the door panel lines? It might well ruin the transfer, I suppose. It just looks a wee bit odd, the solid transfer across the doors. Happy New Year to you; I'm off to see what Rob did with his. Cheers for now, Dougie.

One of the most beautiful cars in the world.

I noticed that you both highlighted existing details on the added details on both the exterior and interior. That's what separates your work from anyone else. I would like more diecast artist to do what you're doing. I particularly enjoyed the magazines being added to the other front seat. One comment made me laugh. I think you meant to say, " I added a couple of shoulder safety belts", but you said, "I added a couple of steering wheels." It gave me a mental image of taking my high school Driver's Ed road course classes (with Mr. Birkhead) in a Ford Pantera! At least you know I'm one that actually listens. I prefer your narration over just music. I'm not alone in that preference, but I'm grateful for everything you do and every video you release. "Thanks heaps" for rendering this car in a way Matchbox should have and 1/1 Panteras should have. We're in a new year, but the pandemic is still here. Safety and Sanitize. Have fun with your toys!
