My mouth fell open when i saw the Horses after painting, I usually only restore or custom old matchbox but your job of the Merc made me consider more recent models. Top work.
What a great restoration! The two models look great together and it is refreshing to see the all white plastic horses painted in brown. The hub caps on the trailer were a good idea too. Thanks for sharing this.
Who keeps disliking these videos, do you know how much work and effort goes into making them??? Amazing results as usual, this was one of my favourites!
Hi, I think both Matchbox Matchbox models should belong together in one package for sale, even as they are from different aeras of Matchbox manufacturing. For that horse trailer a good powerful truck is a must. So nice made customisation of both ! I give 10 stars for it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Greetings and best wishes, please stay well in these times !
Danny, SUPER job on both the Merc and that trailer. Wood work on trailer was a great touch, as well as detailed horses. All round DDD upgrade and custom resto perfection !!
Very nice combination, like that colour on MB, reminds me of my army times, i was a driver and there was few MB G-models too 😀 Horse box looks good too, like those hub caps. Horses look much more realistic now.
A lovely pair of restorations. The trailer is just perfect. Why does the Mercedes look dark olive during the restoration but a much brighter green when finished? Did you repaint it?
Very nice cutom restorations on both vehicles. The olive of the Mercedes turns out very light and shiney. I wished yo choose the same color for the car and trailer, the trailer maybe with a white band as you did. The blue doesn't look right to the set. The ramp an horses turnsout beautiful. Only the blue inside the windowframes doesn't look good. These should be white to.
trailor looks amazing especially the wood accents. those benz look great that green and the extra effort in the license plate really made it. great job
Watching This I think if I was customising it I would reverse the Caravan and attach to the back of the jeep to make a futuristic mobile home. But that's just an idea this gives me
I know I’ve said something to this point before but I’ll say it again. Don’t worry about what others say. Call things what you want it’s your channel. If they are going to get pissy over you calling something by a different name then they are not really fans are they? This is your hobby and we are lucky that we get to enjoy it with you. On a side note that poor thumb of yours is starting to look better I was wondering if it was ever going to heal 😂.
oh Wow I had that car when I was like seven years old! so awesome to see it again! By the way love your channel. I just discovered it, keep up the great work!
good thing the mercedes G is just a brick with only straight lines all over. XD I know I wouldn't have the patience to fiddle with these decal stripes, and just taken a brush-tipped fineliner to these lines. :P looks great all over, and more than just a "lil bit". :)
Matchbox are indeed, still making a version of that horsebox. Two things to take into account, though: (1) - The door/ramp no longer opens; (2) - it does not come with any horses - it does, however, have two different interiors with different stuff moulded in them. A bit pointless, really. Yet again, a beautiful result on both vehicles. The horses look superb! Nice one.
nice work, but I wish you hadn't gone with green. I am partially color blind (about 50 percent of men are to one degree or another) with a green/brown problem so I do not see it like you do. Frankly it could be brown for all I know. I wish you'd gone with a paint job on the Mercedes that matched the trailer.
