Thx so much for the rules video! I was wondering, when playing with 2 players, how does the dummy player selects a card after the trick? Do players pick the card for the bot? Or do the players pick in turn and then the leftover card gets discarded? Thx in advance!
Thanks so much for watching! So, the rules don't actually go over that explicitly. Under the 2p section, it says the rules are the same as 3p, except for the 2 differences I mention in the video. So it's assumed they still pick a card and most importantly take the date card if they win the trick. However, as far as which card they pick, we always played it where they take the card that makes the most sense for them to take. By this I mean they still create a tableau of all the cards they take just like the human players and will try to score as well. So for example, if they have 1 shoe card and there is another shoe card out there they will take that. Or if they have 0 girl cards they will try to take 1 and if already have 1 they will avoid trying to take a 2nd. Or if they have a dress they will try to take a perfume, so on and so forth. Use your best judgment and when in doubt if the bot wants a card and one of the 2 players is like "nooo I want that card!" then it's a good card for the bot to take 😂😈 But you could also play it where the players pick and the leftover card gets discarded as a slightly quicker way to play I guess! Either way, I hope this helped and enjoy the game.
