i've had this for about a year and love it, I use it all the time. i've used air lifts before but i like this one way better. I doubled the length of the suction hose because I work on trucks without issue. I would say that in about 5minutes i can suck down and fill about a 6 gallon system, I have the one that works with the pressure adapters because I think they give a better seal

Confirming the MCR102A uses typical, standard Stant / MotoRad (or any of the other dozen OEM branded versions) of radiator cap adapters? Thx.

Say you’re doing a spill and fill on a full cooling system. When you create the vacuum, does it suck out all the old coolant you’ll be replacing?

Yeah Airlift makes whats called the Airlift 2 , its plastic and seems to be made so that there is no changing hoses. It looks a little cheaper in quality but I cant say that I have personally used it

Are there any issues with the fact that when you vacuum an older system, where the hoses are not really new, and they collapse from this vacuum, that they are - "damaged"? I'm asking, do we shorten the life of the hoses? Or do we hear that hours, days, weeks later, one of the hoses let go, or cracked, or in any way was rendered non-functional, due to this reverse pressure vacuum fill?

First off if your hose cracks by being squeezed it probably should be replaced to begin with, also you'll notice that it's not holding vacuum if there's a leak.

Cool design though 10 to 20 times the cost of most other generic brands were you just have to swap the hose.

do they have one where you don't have to change lines? I haven't seen it yet. I think it's an okay price for saving you the hassle of changing lines in the process

Jacobo Flores Jordon Cloutier I'd say the price difference is justified, like buying a hf tool vs a matco. If I owned a shop and was going to use the tool a lot, I would definitely go with the metal built, all in one, matco that would get 100+ uses. I wouldn't expect the airlift tool to last more than a handful of uses.
