Out of the your three tool franchise trucks, I like the Matco videos the best, especially as of late. Michael does a good job of showing off new tools or other tools that may interest your viewers and giving real world examples of his experiences using certain tools. Nothing against Hamilton or Mac Daddy but Michael is a good compromise between b.s-ing with Hamilton and Mac Daddy's more reserved on-camera personality. All three, and Joe, are good guys to watch. Matco is a phenomenal organization. Their model as a distribution company is quite different than Snap-On, Mac or Cornwell. Matco may not manufacture anything in house except the tool boxes; they leave that to experts. Matco has demonstrated more flexibility and customer responsiveness than the competition. One Matco dealer I did business with in Dallas, told me the company does design tools to a specification and outsources it to other subcontractors for manufacture. This is a bit different than the competition. The tools are evaluated periodically for performance and customer satisfaction. I like this. Finally, the flexibility Matco shows is also extended to dealers.

Easy fix Clay, just use what I call the Papaw Griffith method, put a piece of electric tape over the Check Engine Light, when you for sure KNOW it means nothing...U aint gotta look at it again😂🤣🤣🤣

Great content clay oh and i wanted to thank you because you honestly prolonged the life span of my electric tools i had been sceptical about the tub o towels well a menards just opend up near me and they had them in stock i grabbes a tub thinking ok if the dont work on cleanin the grease off my tools atleast my wife can use them to clean uo my 2 kids messes well 3rd day of having them my tools are clean like brand new clean my wife was able to clean nail polish paint and sharpie of the kids white walls theese things are the real deal for sure im still amazed at how clean they actualy got my tools and the fact weve tries every cleaner we could to get the kids arts and crafts supplies off the wall im amazed truly amazed thank you i deff owe you that keep the content coming man your doing big things

The amount of light bulbs I went through in the 90's. I would drop my trouble light in antifreeze or oil and there went another light bulb. Or accidentally drop the light. I know all about trouble lights in the 1980's and 90's.

My plan is to become a Matco distributor. It will be a few years but I’ll get there that’s my dream job. I’m a people person so talking to a bunch of different people all day would be awesome and I love tools and talking about them. I’ve had crappy tool dealers in the past that make you never want to be like that

Just be glad on the 5.4 3v don’t have to deal when the heads off the valve cover bolts being rotted off. Where you don’t have anything to grab them with left.

I passed a rollback hauling a white with grayish trip Matco 6s triple bank toolbox. Never had thought about it but the best way to move a toolbox without having to unload everything. Always enjoy your videos with Michael and his wife.

The driver side of the triton engine gets more oil than the passenger side replace the oil pump when sitting at idle with a high flow oil pump.

One job I hate are the from the bottom engine swaps,2 to 3 day job and a waste of time.I have one to do,a Ford Edge with the 3.5 and my second one I will be doing.Melling makes the updated oil pump for the 3 valve 5.4,the M360 oil pump.Exhaust manifolds are a royal pain in the butt to replace on the them too in the 2004 to 2010 F150s,$700.00 a side taking all day.Have the dealer do it,$1,000.00 and up. a side.Also the starter bolts,the top one is a pain to get to.Can't see it going by feel.I lost one socket,a 21mm deepwell impact socket and could not find it for a week.Found it on my tool cart beside my Tub O' Towels

I’m always amazed at the amount of product He has on his truck. Every Matco truck I’ve been on has been very scarce on common tools. That is the reason I’ve stuck with Snap On and the independents, they typically always have what I need at that time.

all of the took trucks here are like that except my MAC dealer. he’s got a smaller truck but keeps that joker packed to the gills! i love snapon, but i’m more apt to buy something if they’ve got it in stock and as clay commonly says, the tools only as good as the dealer that sales it and mr tom the mac man is the shit!

It's the opposite where I'm at. My snapon guy barely has anything but my matco and mac guys are always fully stocked. Also my mac guy has the best customer service. He's the only one that has called me if I wasn't at the shop to find out if I needed anything before he left.

Well clay I'll give you my 2 cents as far as matco goes they need to work on quality control for their tools and find more usa manufacturing not taiwanese tools at usa prices especially in their wrenches snapon may be pricey but atleast they offer usa made tools so does cornwell and Mac and for the prices I would rather buy usa tools

That wrench set Michael showed are in the current flyer that ends tomorrow, for regions 12, 16, and 20......$153. Do you know if they have that "flank drive plus" type of teetch in the open end of the wrenches? The extra long ones do have that teeth. I kick myself for not getting those extra long wrenches when they were on sale last Spring. I'm hoping they go on sale again this year.

Triton motors are a pain in the ass!!! I have a 2001 f150 with the 5.4 2v and my dad has a 07 with the 3v. Anything with a triton is a pain in the ass to work on. There’s hardly any room to work on them. I love my fords but I hate the design of those damn tritons.

Matco needs to get rid of the maroon tools. I would never buy their tools because of the colors. If they had a better red I would buy. The blue would be interesting for electric tools. Totally unique color that no one else has. I wish I had MAC and Matco trucks. We only have snap on.

@@KoonTrucking Tool truck tools are about collecting too, I collect guns, some people collect Matco or Snap On tools. Heck, I even collect old cast iron skillets. I also buy tool truck tools at flea markets when I see them for dirt cheap, I know the value, and they go on Craigslist the next day.

I'm a chevy fan but look at the chevy Colorado what the f#ck happened there. It seems all manufacturers change the stuff that's been working great for years and dont change the crap that keeps failing. That goes for every manufacturer anymore. It seems they're making throw away cars. You get 100k miles, car gets to expensive to fix you now have to buy a new one. I swear it seems to be done Intentionally because it makes no sense. How the h#ll does a new chevy or Ford truck cost as much as house and last maybe 6 to 7 years with out dumping 1ks more in to them. Even Tesla is pull some bull sh#t. I dont care if the cars electric gas diesel I work on them all. Tesla is c#ck suckers they dont want independent shops or the owner of the car working on it. They explain it as being to dangerous. My bad tesla I didn't know gas engines weren't dangerous or 220volt a/c couldn't kill you. Even hybrids have voltage that can hurt you bad. I'm not hating on tesla cars I'm saying they are trying to start something like a monopoly.
