I think I heard the winner was from Victoria and for whatever reason couldn't move interstate, so Mater bought it back from them.

No it's not, it's exactly the same house!! The winners were from Victoria and obviously decided to sell it. Apart from a couple of framed pictures, it's even got the same furniture that it came with, all Mater did was put in that awful tennis court. Would have made a great orchard.

Because the Victorian winners decided to sell it, complete with the furniture from their win. Obviously Mater decided to buy it, again.

Yes, they were from Victoria and I guess they wanted to sell it. Thing is, it's the same furnishings throughout the house. One hopes Mater fixed the wood rot, broken window stays and crying windows. Sadly they don't fix anything that needs attention

it would be nice to have more 'normal' homes, nearer the city, smaller usable kitchen in NOT white. Preferably with a view and not near a main road or on a corner. Something one would want to live in. And the tennis court is such a waste of money for a gardiner; cash would have been better. Not even buying a ticket this time. Also, it's hardly decorated when all you can come up with is 'white'. Even a builder can come up with that.

@@KesenyaMooreAstrology or i'm so poor i can't afford to gamble $ on something i probably wouldn't win and wouldn't want. The house i have is far more suited to us complete with a good kitchen. cheap and small in the suburbs. take a hike and use the constructive critism. you want unsolicited praise but not unsolicited advice. fancy wasting all that money on a tennis court when you could have offered cash, which could be used to put in a lift or whatever was needed to make this place practical. dumb!
